Its a fishing story of when me and my brother where kids. My dad took us bullhead fishing in the swamps of Savannah at night in the early spring. We hammered them two 5 gallon buckets full. I had a stretch for two years where I shot the deer in the head blew the horn right off the top of the deer both times. I can yell you that if hit with a 12g its not gonna suffer. It will fall right over. I've shot a couple in the neck also and there's no tracking there done. So I think its more "ethical" than to have the deer running threw the woods. I don't bow hunt cause I have had to shoot to many deer with arrows stuck in them. I have a remington 700 in. 308 and its a great gun little pricey but a 400 yarder + for sure. I like the. 308 cause ammo is still around and fairly cheap. Can order brass online for 11.34 for 20 rounds.
