Barnett quad 400...came with everything broadheads too can't wait to shoot it....traded a shotgun for it hope I get t use it.......full inclusion be nice but I'm also looking to upgrade my compound bow also as I enjoy that too....

I was Surprised as well only ever heard good things about the caliber and round. But the range of the 3030 I mite as well stick with my 12g ik that knocks them down.

I actually had issues with the round not gun....my dad has non tactical model both his and mine shot awsome really nice for the money....but I had a 3030 lever revolution round (don't remember grain) have a complete pass thru without expanding right thru the sweet spot deer did go down after few hundred yards but left little for a blood trail...was not impressed so no longer have or hunt with a 3030

I may very well be incorrect but I don't think you are allowed to carry durring late muzzle season right....or early muzzle season northern zone? Edit....orginal question my ans is 9mm I love my ruger and different loads for different targets

I don't know much about nesting....but I have noticed that the birds I have seen this year have seen have not seemed to be yearlings....i have been seeing a flock of maybe 10-15 daily checking traps and they all look to be bigger birds.

Thanks guys I think I will talk to in law see if he wants to go back at it...i love to shoot and even more so trap/skeet/wing it's fun and challenging. Hopefully I can get in a local league

Anybody in a trap leage....i read about one in the paper so to start up and my father in law used too be into it hard and now retired thought maybe I'd talk him into maybe doing it again....my problem is he always talks about his high dollar trap guns and what not. I don't have one and don't care to use his. But would my mossy 500 work? I know little about format and what not of the league.

Blue collar work wear in olean has 22 all kinds including standard velocity. ...but he charges to much but does have them....actually has biggest ammo supply I've seen locally other than cabelas and dicks.

Yea I try not to but this is first time in my life I'm trapping a area rich with yotes so I'm learning as I go....about to head out with neighbor who's gonna try and help me out a bit as he's a successful k9 hunter and trapper. ...I'm getting them to work my sets nicely lost 2 and had 4 or 5 not step in the pan...hopefully he can teach me some stuff

Mainly scent posts I has one work a small dirt hole the other day but stayed outta pan somehow....and yea I was using earth anchors but man digging them out gets old fast
