I have been reading these and trying to figure out just how to put it....there really is no way to explain it either it's in you or not...i don't hunt to kill things altho that has its bennifits as for filling the freezer or population control. But I live for Family, outdoors and motorcycles. That's what I work 40-60 hours a week for. When I get up at 5 to hit the stand and watch the sun come up and the birds start chirping and the woods get active it gets the blood pumping with or without target animals present. I have spent many many days in woods with friends and my dad and uncle and soon my son will join. It's a art it's a passion it's a skill to find what your looking for in either hunting or fishing or trapping. Pics will last a lifetime so please remember to take pics

Sat from 7 am till 430 saw nothing from the stand jumped 3 moving spots to far for a shot. 2 with bow 2 with rifle 0 with ml overall good season had my chances at bucks but my own fault and nerves got the best of me. 2014 season is over and had a blast....good luck to guys going for the Jan special seasons....

I have also missed 3 days I believe luckily I drive only 10 miles max mostly. I do hunt up in ADKs early muzzle season and fingerlakes region when visiting my parents. Getting worn out tomorrow's a sick day for me so I'll be out all day to bring season to the end the right way

Awsome....my 11 year old nephew helped me track and gut a doe I shot durring bow season....i always call for second eyes as I am color blind and tracking in leaves is really tough....altho I'm getting pretty good at it... first one he's helped find and gut and he was thrilled

Durring archery I'm in before first light as chance of a good shot while on ground are tough.....gun season different story as range is much more and jumping a deer doesn't mean no shot opportunity. For that reason I head in right at legal shooting light. Edit....good question can't wait to see the answers

I have been out everyday but 2 sence october 1st maybe only a few hrs sometimes and I've had my best season ever considering I've never got one with a bow before and got 2 this year with bow then never shot one with a rifle and have 2 now with rifle also....only down fall is that have not seen any bucks sence opening day of gun. I missed one with bow. Missed one opening day but other than that nothing...still a week of mz left and have 1 doe tag my either sex and my reg season tag left....really want 1 more for the older gents freezer and would love to put one in mine also. Good luck to those who will be out maybe we will get a dusting by end of week... Edit....and had the coolest rut experience I've ever had this year when I had 6 different bucks including a 10 pt running stupid around a section of pines durring bow season without shot opportunity. ...that made me hooked to archery hunting
