Rubber boots took a dive. Looking for replacements. My research has pointed me to the Lacrosse Arrowheads, now it's just a matter of figuring out the amount if insulation. Should I go for the 3.5 or the 7.0mm? These will be an all purpose deer and goose boot. From the early bow - late MZ. ( My mind says go 7.0 but I wanted to see if anyone here had direct experience with the make and model. Also, if you own these boots, is the tread pattern aggressive enough for traversing hilly or mountainous terrain? Finally, would you recommend these boots for someone that hunts an average of 3 days a week? Thank you in advance!

Not me, but my cousin. 20 years ago, my father and uncle told my cousin (who ate too much the night b4 and was complaining about having to go #2) that he absolutely could not crap in the woods and if he did, he better keep it up off the ground, or the bears will come for him. He sat all day and went #2 in his handkerchief and kept it in his stand with him all day!

In an area like 1C with a large rabid raccoon population, what are the chances of a deer in the same area having it? Just curious

I do... My mindset is maximize chances with all legal game. Was hunting a field edge and had a hawk annihilate a decoy last season. It was really funny to watch. It came right in and blasted it off its stick.
