Day 1 in Hocking county OH. rubs and scrapes all over. Sitting in the best ridge top funnel I've seen. Wish it was going to stay colder.

Every stitch. I keep all my stuff in a big plastic tool box by Stanley from Home Depot but before a new season i wash it all over again

I have my own separate towels and all clothes in the house get washed with unscented detergent all fall.

Saw a beautiful double throat patch 3yr old bedded with a doe in a field right beside the road this am.

I had not seen a buck since the one I hit on Halloween despite hunting everyday. Today I saw 4- it is starting.

No, that one was from Aurelius. I have yet to connect in Ira but have seen some nice ones over the past 4 seasons. The guy that helped me drag this buck back to the road said his brother hit a 14 point- maybe the same deer you mentioned above. He said he lives on Turner Road.

I live and farm in union springs. I have friends in Ira and hunt their place a bit.

True Phade. One of those deer I'm glad didn't wander by tree without having a few photos of him 1st. Pretty good frame but just needed another year of corn starch to thicken him to my taste. I don't think it's really a shame- just life.

Yes, a possession tag from the sherriff. Was able to salvage everything but the hindquarter that i hit.

With a truck that is! I posted a pic in the bow hunter harvest thread. I hunted all day yesterday and only saw 2 yearling bucks and a bunch of does and fawns. On my way home I intercepted this guy with my bumper! Not exactly the way I would have preferred it to go down. Not very much damage to the truck- just plastic stuff. 130ish 3yr old 8 point with split brows on both sides.

Yup. Dad gave us boys a buck boiler last year. Heck of a 3 year old.
