  1. Just climbed in my 8J spot. Seen 2 nice bucks cruising earlier while at work Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  2. FYI leftover Dmp's are available. I was the first one at Runnings and scored 2 more tags Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  3. Your neighbor eat a bubba burger from Thirsty's? [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  4. Traps are all boiled & dyed. Just climed in my stand. 1st sit on my new property. Got a bruiser buck on cam friday at sunset. Hope he comes out to play while its light. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  5. Yes it was indeed found, but unfortunately by the coyotes. When I showed up a few hours later to track her the coyotes were yipping & howling down on the hillside where she went after the shot. I tracked her to the spot where she laid down, but it seems like the yotes jumped her and she boogied outta there. I circled the area for hours last night to no avail. It sucks, but I will have retribution soon since I'm prepping my coyote traps tomorrow morning. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  6. Just a big split-tail. Gonna do some predator hunting for a while then go track it. I'm just hoping she didn't run waaaaay down the hill. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  7. 8N Just heard some sparring/rubbing. I'm ready for em'! Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  8. That thing looks like a yote/collie mix. What a mess! Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  9. I'm soggy wet but I had a good stalk. Seen 4 doe total, all within bow range. Then went on to ambush a flock of turkeys. Last 1/2 hour I had a spike, a 6pt and a medium 8 within 55yds. Didn't shoot due to rain. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  10. Out stalking in the rain. Just had 2 huge doe at 12yds. Coulda sliced her heart into 3 pieces but I'm on a mission for a stud. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  11. I always had good luck with the shockwaves. I switched to 250gr. Hornady Monoflex 5-6 years ago and they're awesome! I killed 3 doe in a half hour a few years ago with them. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  12. Hey Shawn, good to see ya back! I looked closer after I posted and came to the same conclusion. The brownish "gems" threw me off. They're usually all white when young and fresh. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  13. Look somewhat like Parasol mushroom buttons. I can't be sure from the pics. Personally I'd steer clear. There is a look alike called the false parasol sometimes known as The Vomiter. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  14. Hahaha fear mongering now? I've had the same experience and believe me, a coyote will not run aimlessly through the woods expending energy for any reason other than pressure from other hunters. Maybe that's the real culprit of your deer woes! Now shooting pups with .22lr is the answer? Are you trying to give the animal rights activists more ground to stand on? You were unsure if coyote season was open, but "you may have taken a shot if one was pesented"??? Outstanding ethics! C'mon guy, do you really think the DEC cares about the deer population? With a 3-4 month long season and them handing tags out like candy, I think not. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  15. Was out last evening and didn't see any deer. As I was getting to my vehicle I heard a car VS deer collision right around the bend so I drove over to check it out. The car was gone and a spike was in the ditch with a couple broken legs. Out came the bow and I ended it's suffering. Long story short, the guys came back and said they didn't have time to process the deer and they had the Sheriff sign the deer to me. Can't argue with getting a free tag and other than broken legs there's not much meat damage. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  16. Look like oysters to me. Possibly slightly past prime. Nice Bear! Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  17. Dammit! Just missed a nice light colored yote. Sure enough I had the wrong ammo in the gun. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  18. Fly Agaric. Not Edible Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  19. Meat! This doe always busts me on the way in. I put the stalk on her and sealed the deal at 30yds Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  20. Seen a few deer tonight, but I don't normally like taking doe from this spot before the rut so I let them pass. I did find more Shaggy manes though! Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  21. Might be ringless honeys Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  22. No deer sightings tonight, but I did find some huge Shaggy Manes. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  23. Just got in the stand for my first sit of the season. So thick in here right now so if I see anything it will be in range. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
