  1. I never see a need to log out so I don't experience that. I just close the app. Just wondering, is it possible that you're being logged in automatically when a new post is made in threads that you're subscribed to? Maybe try turning push notifications off. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  2. Very cool. I close next month. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  3. Yep as they get more mature they turn stringy like chicken. It's a nice texture. Soon they will begin to get woody and dry. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  4. Those look great. Older specimens may turn woody and unpalatable. Sometimes only the margin(growing edge) is tender enough to eat. Once the whole fungi fades to a cream color they have already turned bad. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  5. Very cool. Once you experience the craziness that the rut can bring on in the first 2 weeks of November you'll want to spend every possible moment in the stand. Remember, the first shot is the one that counts. If you shoot to the point of fatigue, that's when bad shooting form/habits start. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  6. Quick hunt this evening. Scored more Lobsters, Lions Mane, Hedgehogs, Yellow Ramaria and a few small gem studded puffballs. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  7. Absolutely! I do most of my detecting in the spring before the ground cover gets too thick. I mostly hunt old home sites/cellar holes. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  8. Very nice! I'm swinging a Minelab as well. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  9. Awww damn! Hope its yummy Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  10. Coyotes can't be controlled by hunting. Last season 203,427 deer were harvested in NYS. I'm sure that number would almost double if you tally the unreported kills. With those numbers NYS will not likely take pity if you have an unfilled tag or 2. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  11. September has always been the month when I hammer river bass on topwater. Any topwater popper or Zara Pup will do. They will hold in eddys just off the main current. Dragging a Heddon Torpedo up the current can produce some whoppers. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  12. Won't happen. You'll be met with opposition which will outflank your reasons for a year round season. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  13. That poor things days are numbered. Not a pleasant way to go. Personally I'd shoot on sight to end it's suffering then bury it to prevent the mange from spreading. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  14. Back in about 96 my Dad shot a dandy 10pt which was all green when we skinned it. ECO gave him the option of either keeping the rack or receiving a replacement tag. He took the tag of course. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  15. I got wondering if maybe it swallowed a wasp and got stung in the throat. Ever seen any timber rattlers on the property? Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  16. I'm thinking it's a bear. Quartering to the cam, but looking back over it's shoulder. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  17. Maybe yotes ran it to exhaustion. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  18. Perhaps some kind of campsite. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  19. I sure hope someone wasn't spanning wire across a trail. Do they allow atv use on the property? Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  20. Whipped up a batch tonight. Turned out great! I used Jimmy Dean sage flavor sausage, which is my favorite. Might do some with hot sausage and wild mushrooms next. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  21. Lilac Fibercap. Deadly toxic. Look like orange waxy caps. Thought to be edible, but not very tasty. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  22. Jack-o-lantern. Toxic. Violet Coral. Edible in small quantities(may have laxative effect). Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  23. Ramaria Flava. It's a species of coral fungi and is edible. It doesn't have tons of flavor but the texture is nice when pan seared. The outer fronds get nice and crispy while the stems remain meaty. A few fried florets would compliment a bowl of New England clam chowder or potato soup nicely. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  24. Hang in there man. God Bless Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  25. First hen of the year. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
