I see that if you're lucky enough to be a bow or muzzleloader hunter that you have an extended hunting season. How many of you guys use a bow or muzzleloader?
Yea there are about 90 different deer vocalizations but maybe 10 that hunters use. I've been looking over tons of videos that lay out the core calls and all seem to agree on what they are. They seem pretty simple with minor practice but knowing me I'm going to be in my house sounding like a deer until November lol.
I just reserved mine. His work is awesome and he def puts time into making his calls. If you haven't seen the video of him making one, here it is.

I think if more of the hunting crowd fought against the safe act, the outcome would've been a little different. It seems that a lot of hunters think that the safe act just affects the "tactical" crowd and it couldn't be further from the truth.
This safe act crap has made something so easy, so much harder. I called every local gun shop and none had the 20 gauge Remington accutips. So I have to have them order it for me because they refuse to do a retail to retail transfer.
That's my plan. As long as it's legal it's getting tagged. I'm not worried about trophies yet. I still might mount my first deer regardless of the size.
