I can live with being attacked for being an ethical hunter and hunting by the rules... but it seems you are having a hard time with guys calling you out for not doing the same... I don't remember EVER saying that I did anything unethical. That I shot any deer before or after legal shooting time. This started as a hypothetical situation of (what would you do)., that you turned into calling people on this site criminals and unethical for giving their opinion.Dave Yeah you were one of those that didn't like some of our positions on the subject and started spoutin' off.. go back and read things really well... The fishy part of the story is that Rampola supposedly had the buck scored by some friends that were B&C measurers but refused to have the buck panel scored by the B&C club as is required for any buck in contention with the world record...

I think it would do the DEC well to inform hunters of exactly what the DEC goals are in the way of managing whitetails in NY... and maybe giving guidelines on how hunters could better improve their hunting experience and work towards meeting those goals in their respective areas.
