I think some fellas just have a certain comfort level with one gun over another... and one bullet over another... I know guys that are all about 150 gr bullet over 180 gr in the 30-06... and vice versa... some guys like faltter shooting others more shocking power... so as for better bullet.. I guess ballistically you might be able to rate a bullets performance.. but hunter comfort with a bullet or load might be quite different

See thats where it all goes wrong for you wolly.. nobody is trying to prove any point.. just offering an opinion... you either like it or you don't... if you don't thats okay... there are a lot of others... if you have an opinion it is nice to back the opinion with some argument or facts... not just get bent out of shape because someone has a different opinion and an argument to back it up. There are some that think I am pushing some agenda here... If I were pushing any agenda... I could do that all I want on my website... but If you check my site.. I am pushing nothing other than getting hunters to send in their deer stories and pictures... there is no mention of AR or QDM or Crossbows... this is the place to discuss those issues and voice those opinions... well I thought this was the place... I think I might be wrong... this is more a place where lots of guys are threatened by opinions.. because some of them come with intelligent facts or arguments to back them up..

As for toning it down... this is toned down... and i will continue to respond to any posts made regardless of who likes what i have to say... It's a forum ... a forum has opinions.. if you don't like mine you are more than welcome to speak up and tell me why... I'm all ears... if you come back with a ridiculous argument I will call you on it... If you come back with an insult because you can't come up with a legit argument... I think my name was mentioned 3 times... and I wasn't even present... I didn't know that having the same opinion as another person on the forum was against forum policy... Just for the record... this all started because a few people didn't like the fact that Bubba and I stated that we wouldn't shoot a deer before legal shooting time... You won't find one attack by Bubba or I on that thread... before we were attacked... all we offered was our opinion on the subject and why... check the thread...

You honestly believe that adding crossbows is as important as civil rights? LMFAO It had nothing to do with being as important... it was a point to what you said about being an outlaw based on an opinion one has about crossbows in bowseason... the analogy was a good one and showed the absurdity of the outlaw statement statement.. nothing more... you have your opinion, I just don't agree with your argument that because someone likes the idea of crossbows in bowseason they are lazy or an outlaw...

If you petition the gov to turn my Fly Fishing Only section of the river into anything goes....I would consider you an outlaw, trying to claim "respectability" by turning something clearly illegal into something "legal." The peroxide is in the formula I'm guessing for its cleaning ability.. I eliminate it from my formula... for the oxidizing reason... short term though I have been told it won't hurt the barrel at all.. just can't store the gun for long periods if you add the peroxide to the formula... I shoot in a ML league all winter and there are guys that use the formula with peroxide throughout the ML league... when it comes to putting the gun away for long periods they clean with soap and hot water and coat with bore butter.

Me and a Buddy went to set up some turkey blinds yesterday on our lease... we did quite a bit of stump shooting with the recurves while we were there.. it was a beautiful sunny warm day... had a blast

There is no need for a fee and more bureaucracy... just a report by every hunter.... by phone or by internet... and make both automated so that there doesn't have to be a person to record the results.. it can all be done by computer as it's being reported... very simple... although you realize that there will be deer killed that will not be reported by some hunters.. so as far as statistics.. there will always be some multiplier in the equation to account for a certain amount of poaching...
