have had Moultries cameras for years no major issues & will continue to buy Moultrie cameras STAY AWAY from wildgame innovations had nothing but problems right out of the box 4 cameras all went back multiple times cost me more in shipping then the cameras were worth

you should look at the Ruger American made right in their Newport NH plant I have seen them here for sale new in the low $300 range I have one in the .308 for my daughter & it shoots VERY well for a low priced rifle. surprisingly low recoil for such a light gun

not sure about NY but NH it is illegal for dogs to run deer I would call the CO & NO salt licks are not legal either

How about 7.62x39 like a mini-30? ammo is cheap good for animals up to a deer was what my daughter used till I bought her a .308 also use it for woodchucks & yotes

Man I don't really know how to give input on this & I will probably get crap on this but here goes: longest shot I have taken was 53 yards deer did not goes more then 60 yards before expiring but I am very confident in a 50 yard shot. I know as some stated you need to be prepared for the worst result at that yardage but shouldn't we be ready for that everytime we think of drawing back our bows no matter the distance? with that said here is why I am confident in a 50 yard shot I shoot every day close to 365 days a year have been doing this for 6 years now I shoot min of a doz arrows each shoot (sometimes I shoot more then once a day) I shoot out to 70 yards & am consistant at 70 yards now I am not saying everyone should shoot 50 yards ( some I have seen should limit themselves to 20) there are many things to consider before taking this shot like equipment, wind, rain, temp, angle of shot ect... I have such a passion for bow hunting I would give up my rifle if I had to I own a lot of long & hand guns but my most prized possession & am shooting it more then anything so to me I am confident I will make an ethical 50 yard shot if all conditions are right to me if not I will pass. any shot or distance should be a decision each bowhunter will need to make for themselves not others telling them they sould or should not take & yes we all have to live with that decision good or bad

looking for some bow shops close to Naples never thought about needing one while hunting NY for the week but had a small issue last year that got fixed at camp so any good bow shops close by?

Nope I run the standard Rage was told they are really made for draw weights over 60# Mine is 50-60 so didn't try them I bet they do put a massive hole in um though I know the standard ones do & I love them
