  1. Harassing a few fish with my co-captain, his first time on a kayak and he loved it. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  2. Doing good, squash and zucchini are 6" long already, a few small peppers hanging. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  3. My vote is for Ramcats, you won't regret it. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  4. I took a close up of the fish's # and the phone number. Still have to call it in. SUNY ESF tags the fish for studies. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  5. Rage came out with a collar free design for this year. It's called the Rage Hypodermic NC (no collar). Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  6. Some Kayak largies today, even got a tagged one which is a first for me. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  7. Went to my honeyhole for the first time this year in the kayak and kept some big ole gills. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  8. Oneida river Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  9. Raccoons will eat on my dime tonight. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  10. I'm sure someone might eat it but not me. Thinning the herd. Bowfishing is a blast! Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  11. Busting scales today. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  12. There are a lot of gar in certain bodies of water, and they get quite big! This was just a small one but the one I lost beside the kayak was probably 35-38." They truly remind me of dinosaurs. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  13. Weird day, a few short 24" northerns early on. Then something crushed my spinner and as I fought it toward my kayak I saw it was a huge Gar, he eventually spit the hook, but I got hit/bit on almost every cast to this spot. Strange, and they were eating it, I wasn't just bumping into them. I did land one eventually! Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  14. No, that'd be just something more for the fish to wrap around, plus I enjoy them turning you around! Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  15. Landing them in the kayak is where things can get dicey quick! It's fun though, especially when you're half paying attention and get a follow right up to the boat and it scares the hell out of you for a second. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  16. Didn't measure either one, wanted to get them released but I'd guess 36-37"? They were both pretty much the same size. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  17. I thought about that too, hard to say I guess. It didn't seem to slow this fish down! Hopefully it survives and finds me again in a few years! Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  18. Went out in the kayak yesterday looking for big pike on the big inline spinners I just put together and found 2 awesome fish. One had a big gash on it's side, I can only presume from the eagle that has a nest 100 yds away. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  19. Went 1/2 on steelies, the one I lost would've been my personal best, it was a tank of a trout. Soon they'll be gone until fall. And as usual we landed about 30 smallies. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  20. Ridiculous day on the water yesterday, over 75 smallmouth, 2 steelhead and a northern all boated while centerpin fishing floats and jigs. Best smallie of the day was 5lbs 1oz on the scale. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  21. Smacked them this morning on Ontario. 5 man limit of brownies by 9AM, picked up 4 Lakers to boot, largest was 12.5lbs on the scale. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  22. Hammered the trout today. Buddy and I landed 35+ despite the high, muddy water. Some great 14" fish in the mix too. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  23. Having fun with stockies. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  24. 25 caliber is my go to round. I shoot a 25WSSM which is ballistically identical to the 25-06. I know this sounds cliche but that round puts them down quicker and harder than any other caliber I've used. I can only speculate exactly why but it's a caliber I'll never be without. My 30-06's rarely see the woods anymore because I'm so confident and comfortable with my A Bolt. Knock on wood, I've killed probably 20 deer + with the gun and never missed a single shot or lost a single deer. I wish a few of my 30-06's were 25's. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  25. Sorry for the crappy picture quality, my buddy's phone won't transfer in full resolution. Short trip to the SR yesterday and the fish were active, slightly warmer water even has the freshies airborne on hookset. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
