So, I have a 7-week newborn. Baby has been crying a seemingly in pain for a few weeks. Repeated doctor visits have been productive and doc wanted to make sure the formula was the right fit. Last two weeks, the baby cried much morem (6-7 hours per day, 90+% when she is awake) and we've been to see the doc several times. Doc cleared her schedule and had us come in yesterday on short notice and luckily the baby went into a fit and gave the doc the signs she needed to address it. She said the baby has harsh infant acid reflux AND the baby has an allergy/intolerance to animal proteins found in nearly all OTC formulas. Doc prescribed some med for the reflux and prescribed a very specific formula. Read...PRESCRIBED. My medical/pharmacy plans are top-notch and I pay dearly for it. The med was approved and the formula was denied. At work here and tried calling in to appeal and not getting anywhere. Maybe it's just me, but call me crazy if a doc prescribes something for a freaking newborn...that it should be approved. I understand the context of their business model, but wow is that low on the totem pole of life - denying a newborn prescribed formula. I don't typically get fired up and ticked off, but if I could reach through that phone, I would... So here we are, I have to go home and feed my baby a formula that I know is hurting her. Breaks my heart.

Nice! I have several small bucks in the freezer from my early hunting days that need to be done and never got around to it.

Even more so in autumn

Perfect game to hunt here on the east cost...largely because there are no elk (save for PA/KY lottery) on the east coast. I'm deftly afraid of going on an elk hunt even though I plan to within the next 3-5 seasons. I fear experiencing it and losing the fire for whitetails. Most everyone I have hunted with who have gone out west say that it blows whitetail hunting out of the water.

295 bypass is a good suggestion. A place slightly off the path there would be Busch Gardens - there's a campground nearby and also Colonial Williamsburg. It wouldn't be much of a jump off of 95...BUT, there's a reason Busch Gardens has been voted one of the best/most beautiful theme parks in the country year after year after year.

I went to school at Univ. of South Florida. Similar story...still hunted and fished a few times, but was more or less into sports, some academia, and serious amounts of partying, alcohol, and ladies. Oh the stories. Perhaps the best was being stalked by a professional cheerleader for the Tampa Bay Lightning and becoming a legend in my fraternity for dealing with that, a soriety girl, and her mother in a single weekend. My last name is now used as a verb in such conquests. Most guys go through that stage and have stories like that. Sort of like the modern-day people's rumspringa (or however they spell it). Just one of the stepping stones on the road of life. Now, I pay high property taxes and get more excited at the prospect of going hunting than to the clubs/bars. I know for a fact I wouldn't recognize myself if my 21-yr old version happened to jump to the future and look at me now at 31. Time flies.

Not really worth it. If it were, you would have seen bowhunters en masse moving to this style of setup. A handheld RF is much more versatile imo.

Covert Red 40.

I pay $4500 for 2 acres and just shy of 2k sq ft.

The demands of many rural counties without urban areas to support are levied partially because there are so many tax breaks for heavy ag and other "natural" business along the lines of logging, etc. Thus residential zones get hammered with taxes to support the base. If say 50% (just a random number) of the land in said area is in ag with tax breaks, then that income has to come from the remaining 50%. Pair a rural county with heavy ag AND a distressed urban area such as Chemung...and BAM! Break out the Vaseline. I support farms no doubt, they're integral to upstate NY. It's just part of why residents in a home have such high taxes.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat with budget meetings and trying to retain 10% of my program's budget that was moved to other cost centers. Ever try to tell people you still want money that is paid by another cost center? That is balls on grater fun. Trying to spin the spin machine to keep it. Not much different than what we're all trying to do in this thread.

Can't say I have ever heard of NY people planting it for deer. I just think in the list of things to grow in NY, milo would be lower.

I'd love to be able to own a recreational one to RC fly over marshes and bedding. Know a few people that have done that before and use it to look for shot deer.

This is a good cam, buyer won't be disappointed. I'll even throw in a 2GB card. I wouldn't be getting rid of this if it were black flash.

Sale pending.

Go figure, i got an email saying they were out of stock and refunding my money.

Interesting to see this show and the bowhunting supershow going on so close to one another the same weekend.

Not what I expect from someone who tries to portray the image you do with your site. Either way, that's your right and your opinion.
-
No problem. Your colors show through in your own words.

You talk about me growing up, but I'm not the one promoting someone shooting at you with an xbow on a public forum with kids on it. I don't think it needs further rationalization by you at all; it speaks for itself given the context.
