  1. To be honest with ya, I never put him on the scales. I measured him at 20.5. I'm guessing around 7 lbs.
  2. Is it worthy of a wall mount? :
  3. That's crazy! Were in Livingston QDM? I have property in Groveland.
  4. That supports the original story that it was found in Letchworth while trout fishing on 4/1.
  5. I received this picture via text message today. The story is that a guy trout fishing on 4/1/11 in Letchworth State Park found this buck. Does anyone have anymore info - or can anyone confirm this story? A true monster!
  6. Yeah, this is the 7th shoulder mount he's done for me...he always timely. Never had an issue.
  7. Thanks guys! I was pleased how he turned out.
  8. Here's my 2010 buck. I just picked him up this past weekend.
  9. I've had the same experience with mine. It makes that sound, which in most cases alerts the deer. It can work to your advantage though, because they look directly into the camera - offering a different angle. Nice pics.
  10. He was good to me too! I was in my blind all night waiting on him. Just before first light, he entered the roof top. I slowly grabbed my T/C centering my Bushnell on Dasher, but he went behind the chimney not offering a clear shot. That's when Dancer stepped out. My biggest buck to date! Thanks Santa!
  11. Hunted rabbits my whole life with dogs using a single shot .410. You don't want to blow them up + rabbits die very easily, so a few BB's will do the trick.
  12. ...and just think, they didn't have scent lock? :-\
  13. That's awsome! Can you imagine a picture like that today? : Three guys, a dog and three dead wolves strung over the hood of an Impala or something like that. That would be great. Love the pic.
  14. Good job Jordan. We can all remember our first deer kill. Reading your story took me back to my first. Keep up the good work!
  15. They appear to be last years sheds...eh?
  16. I think I'd of shot the second buck...looks to be a 5.5 year old ~ Ha! Nice cake though!
