    Yep found first 2 bloods 15 and 30 yds from arrow...gonna be a slow track I believe I smell him... Gomna back out get my survey tape and a coffee and prolly a buddy or 2 mihht not be guts might just be lung liver

    15 yards... He was nearly broadside but apparently not totally...the shot was back a bit but in the long ribs...he gave a good wobble but slowly walked back into the thicket

    This is the worst part...no one ever accused me of being patient. Came in quick right out of the thick stuff nose to the ground on my prepped trail I shot him 5 yards before he hit the mock scrape I made yesterday antler ice is not a joke

    35 light precip im in the lot. I prepped the area with fresh buck and hot doe in the rain yesterday....have my 2d deke packed, should I use her?

    Thanks for the kind thoughts! I only sat long enough to id some essential trimming so I got down did that and I'm ready for tomorrow AM...altogether it was still 2.5 hours in the 33* downpour. Here is to hoping!

    Hung this set in hell conditions yet like a ninja should...I am soaked and beat but I'm hanging for a half hour or so hopin for a chef special. Counts as hunting

    Yeah it's not the forecast it's the crazy weather...I'm not finding anything amusing: The "eye" of this crap is occilating all around my position...so far we got .05"

    4 hunts I would have considered decent...3 AMs 1 PM where I had the opportunity to hunt the conditions...drawn on 3 deer and passed because of spike or marginal (overcautiois) shots...also passed a turkey. Still sightings have been way down even on those good sits and all the other "hunting" I've gotten to do is crap mid days or even worse pm sits in very unlikely spots. Redwings owed me a hunting boot 3 weeks, Strickland owes me a pack of heads going on 3 weeks...and someone I love and live with owes me some more primetime. BTW where is all the rain this am...misinformed and another good am wasted.
