After a long track in 3n through some nasty stuff we bumped him. That was 5 hours after shot. He looked wobbly but pulled out. Sick day tomorrow. On the positive side he really really nice for this area and a hopeful first. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk -

In 3n and would be happy with some crunching. Not a thing in 3 sits. A ghost town again so far Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk -
Ur theory maybe right but my guess would be u peeked. Follow through is critical. Also be super careful of limbs, cams, string hitting anything. The results are not pretty. Had a friend blow up his bow that way. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

I got wide sit and climb. I like it for the most part but it been creaking and for the life of me can't get it to stop. It better after bow string wax on cable but still not perfect and for the money it dam well should. Have heard great things about treewalker and thinking of trying next season. So sad that as property owners that are exhorted for taxes we don't have rights. A 25$ fine is a joke. Meanwhile if the trespassing POS injured himself you could liable. I'm glad u found a way for retribution. I doubt I would be able to handle that anyway near as well as you are. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

lone wolf climber creaking
brownclown replied to brownclown's topic in Hunting Gear Reviews and Gear Discussions
not new. two years old but dont use it all that much but recently aquired a new property so never set any stands there. i checked all bolts and they are all good. when i used it last year it wasnt really a problem untill it got cold out. i kinda forgot about the problem until it started acting up again this year. i called lone wolf and they recommended trying vegatable oil on cable but think that would smell too much and attract debris. also suggested to try moleskin or tape inside the tubing. did see a few other post using google with people having same issue but no real solutions. any ideas on a lube that wont smell noe attract dirt? -

i haven't but just ordered one. in my search to find a remedy for squeeking wolf cliber, i saw them highly recommended. -
i have a lone wolf sit n climb (wide). and it squeeks pretty bad. it seems to be happening right where the belt/stap meets the aluminum. happens when climbing and or movement like transitioning from sitting to standing. it doesnt happen on the bottom section which i think is bc use the older style clear strap. i think the newer grey mataeril is the problem? i would try a lube but worried about oders. was thinking maybe bow string wax? anyone have this problem? solutions?

i was able to retieve the 2nd cam i had out that had taken black images and this one magically fixed itself as well. inspite of this issue i really love the quality of the pics from this cam. it is also way better it detecting deer from further and almost no blurry pics. and the images are way better then my moultrie 880.

with a roku box you can subscribe to lots of channels i.e. netflix, hulu, etc. there are tons of them . many are free. lots of hunting ones.

well i was able to retieve one of the cams . i didnt change anything about set-up just swapped card and no problem with any of the night time pics. i then tested in basement and it had no problems. Really confused now. any ideas?

i purchased these from trailcampro.com bc of two year warranty as a precaution given my history of cams working well when new but conveniently dying right after warranty ending. anyhow i just got off the phone with them and they didnt have any idea but are sending out two new cams with return shipping. was nice to deal with a company that cares about customer service/happiness.

brand new batteries, band new cam, updated firm ware and happening on both will test tonight when home.

my hunting buddy is pretty much exactly your size and loves the summit. he's always commenting on how comfortable it is. he is a noob and has no experience to caompare with but he is very happy. i use a lone wolf and played with his and was surprised at how much i liked it.

i just pulled cards from two for the first time. All of the night pics are black almost as if no flash? i have the newest update. i thinking it may because i had them up about ten 10ft and angled down which is about only about 20ft from trail/ expect travel route. i have done this with other cams and never had a problem. any ideas? on a positive the day time photos are some of the best ive evr had.
