what a crock i hunt in hancock . I NEVER SEEN anything like that in hancock , the town cant be more middle america . reminds me of the bloomberg election year ploy w/ those 4 guys up in kingston in 2008 . stirring emotions

i grew up on the ten mile river in sullivan cty we use to see them tasted them raw like no flavor clams ,mussels and oysters on long island taste briney their from the sea . i know fresh water mussels have no flavor either , soaking in corn meal is called purging it cleans any filter feeders in cluding snails we italians call them babaloshio an aquired taste to say the lest . i live in queens and fish in jamaica bay [most my life] have seen people eat clams, bank mussels [ not the mussels you suppost to eat those are blue mussels their draged in deepwater] spider crabs[ugly as sin] calico crabs, hackleheads,moss bunker ,peanut bunker [ baby bunker] . even a russian on canarsie pier eat a blood worm and washed it down w/vodka and said in russia we waste nothing

might be off the subject alittle , i made my own stock/ consomme its easy and i feel im using more of the deer i roast the bones [hack up the leg bones small you want the marrow the neck and spine break in small pieces ] w/ carrots onions celery garlic in a400 oven till browned well [ start the bones then add the veg. add to large stock pot coverw/ water add salt[sparingly @first]juniper berry pepper corns bayleaf parsley and boil baby boil keep adding water and taste skim and skim til clear broth make about a gal. ifreeze in sand. size ziplock bags use to make soup/ stew . go on hunter angler gardener, cook i got the recipe there

see what your shop has in new modertly priced new bow i bought the pse deer hunter in 08 still shooting it i bougtht as a pack age a great start ready to shoot they call it about $300- 500 . my idea is get your form down first [shoot a low end bow well than a high end bow poorly ] you can always up grade and PRACTICE

like d-bone said three rivers samick sage i bought the take down i shoot 28'' lenth bow lenth 62" at first i bought 60lbs limbs thank god for this web site they helped me alot i bought the 50 lbs limbs , i would segest although their more money go to a pro shop to get the accearies the beginners kit from three rivers are extremely low end[ you cant tell the qualityon line you get what you pay for] the nock pliers are junk the gloves dont fit , ect .. also the pro shop will spine your arrows for your bow [ishoot 400 beman helical so they spin ] i went to the pro shop where ilive in queens they were a little pissed i bought on line but helped me anyway i wanted to use the recurve for long island jump shooting w/ a compound you cant walk around tethered to a bow w/ a release much quicker shooting fingers close shooting very thick 20' to maybe 20 yds .with that said go on youtube and see how to shoot trad achery alot of videos on there and practice its alot of fun and relaxing but can be frustating too . i hope i help good luck

i know im big on common curdesty [ i know i didn't spell it right ] on to road w/ truckers its an unwritten code but in todays world its me first and the hell w/ everyone else gypsy cabs and yellow cabs are the worst in the city theyll come around you to an access lane and bottle neck the right lane , make a right or left turn from the oppsite lane because the turning lane is long so screw everbody waiting because their entitled i try and catch my self driving aggestivly and people not paying attention if i flash my lites to make a left GO im laying back GO somtimes i need patience too peolpe are lost or looking for an address or a parking space curtesy common curtesy

the camera records 8 sec before 4 sec. after the driver hit the brake and triggered an event [thats what they call it ] thats why the clips are short but i seen these before and it bogglels the mind how quick things change and you dont have time to react it did change my mind set when driving

that camera is mounted on the wind shield i have on in my dump truck its called drivercam its very sensitive hit a pothole it goes off hit the brake hard it goes off it also record in the cab so they see you smoking [idont] or drinking coffee its against company policy they penalize youwonderful tool to see what can happen but the companys are useing as a control thing and i dont understand how sombody in india or san diego or phillipines tell me iwas following to close on the brooklyn queens exp or i had a fixed stare [ not paying attention ] on the l.i.e.

i used [$8 for 18 ozs. ]this so call no scent no uv brighteners detergent [ no clean more appropriate] to wash my hunting clothes AFTER hunting dirty knees [dont ask,dont be smart haha] mud ,blood did't clean at all wash in reg detergent then again in the other stuff not to smell , well i used this stuff to get diesel smell off my jacket [ i helped my friend w/ a small spill] THE JACKET STILL SMELLS wash AGAIN in reg detergent no smell im stickin' w/ baking soda & cover scents

well theres an old saying the two times you enjoy a boat when buy it and when you sell it #1 change the oil #2 drain the lower unit ifs milky you have seals leaking they come in a kit change them the oil has no pan so you buy a pump [drill or hand] and pump it out th filter is a pain might have to loosen the mounts to get at it if not you're lucky .#3 drain ALL the gas out the tank and add fresh , change the water seperater if it has one if not buy one . buy 2 dual prpose batt w/ min 550 marine crank amps and a batt selector w/ 1-2 and both chk your wires and clean if green / corr. a hose adapter to the lower unit where the intakes are start the water , spray all the gears w/ wd40 or sim. SLOWLY crank the engine once or twice 4 cranks move the throttel a few times and crank again should start SLOWLY LET IT WARM UP CHK TO SEE WATER COMES out te exaust that showas the water pump is working . now chk the transom w/ a screw driver from inside the bilge if its soft you have rot , the bottom chk w/ a scraaper if you see gelcoat loosen you have bilsters . its not as bad as it sounds its an old boat and been up for a while so baby it and enjoy it. send me a p/m ill asner any quest.
