Yea, I've had it for almost 20 years, my grandmother gave it to me when I was in college... It's comfortable and holds a nice edge.

Today was a fruitful day. I had to play frogger… but I got a new set of rattling antlers.

Mmmm doe backstrap + tenderloin. And apparently I caught liver too… didn’t notice while I was gutting. Liver, bacon, and onion sandwiches this week!

Tonight I watched a half dozen does for over 2 hours just relaxing and grazing in a field. Finally 2 small bucks and one decent buck showed up to harass them. Nice buck is a new one, a big 6 with no brow tines. Great to finally see daytime action. I checked cams and sure enough the new 6 was on it. Along with the 2 local bucks.

Up in a tree until dark or deer. Hopefully this breeze stays, because I forgot to grab my thermacell. Good luck to anybody else out there!

Beautiful morning. I was surrounded by does early, and hoping a buck would join or follow. No such luck. Probably shoulda shot one. Oh well. Lots of deer moving this morning.

Practice run with the climber before a real hunt this weekend. Rare South wind could actually work out in this spot tonight. Bedding to the South and corn fields to the North.

I got a decent sized bear on cam in 8H last year. No pics yet this year, but I did see a big crap pile a few weeks ago.

Deer are crossing through to a corn field all night long... How many of these are the same buck? I know the first and third are the same... its basically the same picture.

My daughter is 4. I was going to take her our last year and she changed her mind the night before. This year she's very excited and can't wait to hunt from her treehouse. Ill take her out for a quick PM hunt sometime in the next few weeks.

I had a strange looking spot on a deer early this season... I forgot about it until I saw this post. Ill see if I have a more recent pic of this one.
