  2. Lighted knocks are great. Not only does it make finding your arrow easier (which will save you money if you take a lot of shots) but it also helps you to see where your shot is going when you are in those low light scenarios (dawn and dusk) Inviato dal mio iPhone utilizzando Tapatalk
  3. Thanks for the advice. I was also reading up on the smaller diameter shaft do you think they still get good KE with the small shaft? Inviato dal mio iPhone utilizzando Tapatalk

  6. I had gold tip for a few years before switching to CE. I just like always trying to gain an advantage on the deer. Just not sure if i would be gaining much by switching from CE to bloodsport although the bloodsports got that cool bloodring and a built in lighted knock. Sometimes the knocks dont go off on the CE Inviato dal mio iPhone utilizzando Tapatalk
  7. I have a feeling other countries would join the fight and aid whichever side they seem fitting. Kind of like what we do overseas (which is bs) it wouldnt be like it was hundreds of years ago Inviato dal mio iPhone utilizzando Tapatalk

  13. Yesterday i saw a few bucks with groups of does in different woodlots grabbing my cameras out of the woods. No mature bucks but some were decent. In westchester i may add Inviato dal mio iPhone utilizzando Tapatalk

  15. I run 20 to 25 cameras from June to December and I experience the same thing you do. I have found most mature bucks don't stay in the same area summer into fall into winter. Especially in Smallwood lots where I hunt. Three years in a row I had a 120 inch eight pointer that I had on camera who only came during the rut I never had one picture of him in the summer or early fall but during the rut for a week or two he would show up. It depends on your woods and what surrounds it. Inviato dal mio iPhone utilizzando Tapatalk

  18. Looks great! I have done a few euro mounts this fall with my pressure washer and cannt believe how awesome it comes out. I usually take the eyeballs out it makes it go little quicker. I also get a kick from the look on my neighbors faces. Its priceless Inviato dal mio iPhone utilizzando Tapatalk
  19. My dad shoulder shot a nice 8pt in 2013 he survived a week later he was on camera where the shot had occured. Then last year i killed him from the same exact stand with a hot doe. So yes it can happen. Depends on the factors. Inviato dal mio iPhone utilizzando Tapatalk

  22. It sounds like the shot went a little high but I would not give up looking I shot a beautiful deer last year that I found five days later. I looked everywhere and I found him on the last day I was going to give him before I gave up looking you never know. Watch for crows hair turkey vultures etc. Inviato dal mio iPhone utilizzando Tapatalk
  23. Agreed ^^^ Inviato dal mio iPhone utilizzando Tapatalk
  24. I saw this post and wanted to share my experience. I shot an eight point pointer A few days ago and decided to give this a try. First I cut off the Fur and as much meat as I could. The next day with my pressure washer I blasted the skull as best as I could making sure all the brain matter was out. It was pretty messy and I recommend using raingear and rubber boots if you have it. It took me about a half an hour to get the skull fully clean but I am pleased with the outcome Inviato dal mio iPhone utilizzando Tapatalk
  25. Yeah they got it in gander mtn and cabelas if u want to try it. I would get soil now and mix it in it while the soil isn't frozen and easy to dig. Cant hurt Inviato dal mio iPhone utilizzando Tapatalk
