I think for myself and decided very early on to take a vaccine against a world wide virus. No conspiracy there. I much rather take my chances with a new vaccine vs the virus. The numbers are pretty clear to me when you compare corona deaths to vaccine deaths, no matter where you get your news. And I know the vaccine is not 100%,but 90 % or even 80% is much better than 0%. Smoking doesn't kill everyone,but your chances for opcd are pretty good if you are a smoker. Me taking the vaccine has nothing to do with the government requiring it but my own common sense.

Ok guys,you do realize things don't change the day a new president gets into office,right? Covid wasn't Trumps fault, he could have handled it better for sure,but regardless,the whole world shit down. Our economy is so interwoven with the rest of the world that things were gonna get rough even if there were no U.S shutdowns. The whole supply chain got interrupted and still is,wouldn't have mattered what anyone did last year or this year. I don't think Biden will be the big change you guys are afraid of i.e. abandoning fossil fuels yet. Too many people would kick and scream. Any big changes are generally accompanied by temporary turmoil. Things have to get worse before they get better. But there are plenty of folks holding on to yesterday for all their life's worth,but the world keeps changing. Learn from the past to build a better future. I doubt Biden is the president for that,and neither was Trump.

I could tell you the same thing about Trump. He could do no wrong in your eyes. Same thing.

Too funny. Trump got to seat three Supreme Court judges,Obama got one in double the time in office. The position that opened 8 months before the election was not filled because of the outcry of the Republicans, it was too close to an election they said. But 4 years later they must have forgot about that when they appointed one less than two months from the election. Selective memory or Alzheimers? we may never know... It is only slimy when the other party does it,right?

Ok,that's your opinion. Plenty of things the government regulates and you follow those I assume. You draw your line wherever you want. You see a sinister plan of taking away rights,I see it as doing my part to get the country reopened and back in business. Nobody is going to change anyone's mind here. The world is as you see it.

Vaxxed people are less of a danger in the sense that they are less likely to fill up the hospitals Sure,they can still get and transmit it. A lot of people that don't want to get the vaccine for health reasons are fine with using Teflon pans,bpa laden plastic products,eat feedlot beef and gm corn and soybeans. If you don't want to take it own it. Health reasons,haha.

@Nomad,I think you will have a very successful season. I plastered a doe early October last year and had a very good season afterwards. Maybe that will happen to you as well. I had over 6k worth of damage on my truck I had just gotten two months earlier.

I went for another scout/still hunt between showers today. I came up on a hill top that had tons of rubs last year,it is somewhat open with lots of blackberry bushes. On my way a spike walk past me at 25 yds without seeing me,he must have had an appointment. On the top of the hill I slowed way way down and spotted a doe working towards me. Trouble was the wind,as I was close to the top of the hill it kept dragging around the hill carrying my scent to her before she got in range. It was interesting to watch, she got nervous but only got the wind occasionally. Then I saw two more does behind her. They turned around and walked away slowly. I waited and after a while I followed. I found them not 200 yds from where they turned around,bedded down. I thought I had a chance to crawl within range as there was a slight rise between us. I crawled for 30 yds and really liked my chances when the wind swirled again and they stood up. There were actually 4 of them,bedded on the leeward side of the hill. They didn't bolt but I couldn't do much with 4 sets of eyes trying to find the source of the smell. They wandered off eventually. That was a ton of fun though. I learned a crosswind is an iffy thing to rely on,but if I was straight downwind they would have seen me coming.

Full steam ahead then!

Went for a scouting/hunting walk with bow in hand. Found not much sign but at least I got the first dump in the woods out of the way. Luckily there are still some green leaves to be found. Only deer seen were in a field but by the time I snuck close enough even the extra 30 mins of shooting time weren't enough. But I saw my first deer,so thumbs up!

Happy for you Larry,there is always hope. I am an optimist in the day to day life,but we humans seem pretty dumb right now. And @Jeremy K,it does not surprise me at all that you think burning the world's reserves of fossil fuel that took millions of years to form in a meager 150 yesrs has no impact whatsoever on the environment. I bet you did great in science in high school.

You guys was meant to indicate certain people sudden concern for the environmental impacts of electric vehicles vs gas-powered vehicles. I never heard "them" question the environmental costs of gas powered cars. Anyway,something needs to be done or we as humans will drive of the cliff,with a smile on our faces because driving is soo fun. But I seriously doubt anything of real consequence will be accomplished. I will say it again, very happy to not have kids that will have to live through the next 50 years.
