nah,not on sports. I never chimed in on that one. wearing them playing basketball makes no sense as that is a pretty close contact sport to begin with. Soccer would be a different story maybe. And I do agree that breathing will be harder when you run with a mask on. If everyone is wearing one everyone has the same disadvantage, like a handicap. I doubt anyone would mange to play hard to enough to make themselves pass out.

I was at work and had no clue. My parents were visiting from Germany at the time and we had a bus tour scheduled to the city for the next day. When I got home they told me what happened and we turned on the news. Shocking. The worst thing was my wife was flying that day on her way to Washington state and her plane across the country left from Washington DC. Her plane was on the runway waiting for takeoff when every plane was grounded. She was not too many planes behind the one that left from DC headed for the pentagon. Luckily she managed to call our house and say she was OK before I got home.. She managed to get back 3 days later by teaming up with 2 fellow New Yorkers and they rented a car to drive back up. One of the strangest days to say the least.

A general decline in respect for much of anything? You are asking a very complex question but answered it very linear. There are a ton of factors involved,and we would have to get quite specific and wouldn't come up with the answers anyway. Are you asking about inner cities or in general,across the whole racial spectrum or what? I may have some ideas,but not definitive answers. There is no direct line between cause and effect because there are so many factors involved. So when you make the statement that abortions lead to disrespect of life in general you are over simplifying. That is all I am saying.

I think abortion shows more respect for life,because if a woman decides to not have a baby because she is single or does not have the means to be a good mother is showing concern for the long term welfare of the baby as a person. Where anti abortionists only show concern for the fetus,after that you don't care about the well being of the person. Is my statement more or less true than yours?
