I thought I was about ready but this week has been crazy. I still have not been able to pick up my new arrows,they are done. I hope the shop is open on Friday...I will miss opening day but get out this weekend to get things dialed in,and if a doe or buck happens to cruise by I will introduce them to my new broadheads.

Are we less safe? That is a pretty subjective topic and there really isn't much data to prove either. I can say my feeling of safety has not changed much over the last 20 years. I don't even think about it hardly at all.

Lots of people raising pigs around here. The trouble with that is usually you buy half or a whole pig. I have some friends that usually get half a pig or so and they have no use for the fat. I could probably get you some. Other than that hit up a farmers market in the area and see if someone sells pork. I got a pork butt last year from an Amish fella for a good price.

Hope you heal up well and it is always good to post these things. It takes just a little mishap and you can go flying. I fell off my scaffolding a few weeks ago,about 10' up and was super lucky on the landing. Just bruised up ribs and and leg but it could have been so much worse. There really is no way to wear a safety harness at work,but in the woods I am safe because as soon as I leave the ground I am tied to the tree. A big plus of saddle hunting.

I still have to pick up my new arrows for the heavier broadheads. I expect them to fly just fine as my total arrow weight won't change. Other than that I am ready!

small fish as well for the most part. It is a matter of scale. Politicians and politics are really just a screen for the real people in power.

I am not talking about the couple million dollar rich people but the folks like bezos or musk. Those guys are filthy rich. But you keep feeling thankful for them if that's what you want to do.
