  1. Photos of the 30-30 are on the way, just have to figure out how to load them via cell
  2. Also have a winchester model 94,30-30 lever action, I believe last time i ran the serial # it was a late 1970's. Great condition, bought it from a local farmer. Its missing a few screws because he used to have a scope mount on it and took it off and lost the screws. Shoots awesome and where the bullets go in isnt even scracthed up to much. I shot it quite a bit over the summer and ended up putting a limbsaver recoil pad on it. $300 firm on it. Pictures upon request
  3. Mossberg model 500 20 gauge, pump. Slug and bird barrel combo, about 10 slugs threw the slug barrel and close to 100 for the bird barrel. Great Shape.I'd take 275 obo. Hi-point .40 s&w carbine has a nice tactile look and shoots great, fun cheap gun to plink with company sells some cool accessories for it, about 300 rds through it. Great shape $250 last is a ruger 10/22 on a plastic stock with a folding hollow buttstock. I won't lie it's beat up but still shoots good, the paints a little scrapped and some oxidization on the barrel. I'd take $75 and I'll have to look around for the mag.
  4. Id say it all depends on how hungry the other yote's in the area are, if there not getting alot of food then they will eat just about anything. It's rare for a yote to eat right where the "prey" is they usually drag the carcass and then eat, thats from my observation others may not agree. Also dont forget crows !
  5. Ahh much better with a picture ! beautiful buck
  6. Not a ton of activity here in 7r either, glad im not the only one. There moving and checking scrapes but i had a small buck 10 yards from a scent wick blowing right in his face and he just sniffed a little and kept moving. I dont think this winds helping the movement much either IMO
  7. If you find a stand on your property it is from that point on yours to keep, i dont care who you are if you dont have permission to be there and are dumb enough to leave it, you lose it. This usually helps keep them from coming back because they dont want to keep throwing away money to !
  8. shot 2 bucks and 3 does with my montecs, saw a buck and doe die within 30 yards of the stand, the rest were probably 60-100 off, never had a problem with a blood trail though...
  9. No better time then the present, there scouting out the does and getting ready to breed if not already breeding, passed on a small buck trailing a doe today.
  10. 313 acres split up into 6 people increase odds of seeing another hunter alot faster then you would presume...
  11. Ive got a few black ones out here toward ithaca, damn hard to kill for some reason, seem to be a little smarter then most greys and im not to sure why.
  12. haha biz i hope thats not yours ! i wouldnt ever pay if someone make a horrible mount like that
  13. Theres plenty of good people left out there ! just the bad ones make the news
  14. Cant kill a deer if you arent in the stand !
  15. I take in mind wind conditions then just pick from the stands i have or use my ground blind. Im always second guessing myself though !
  16. Had two young bucks chasing and trying to mount a doe up in 8s on saturday
  17. So far im kicking myself in the ass on this peice of property. I can only enter from the north and the deer are either bedded down in the fields or still eatting. Seem to kick one up every time im there. Im going in with the ground blind tonight Ive saw 4 does but no bucks yet, rubs are appering more and more but no scrapes to be seen yet. Im going toward the two "t's" tonight hopefully i can see something.
  18. why wouldnt you just take you muzzleloader ? that will increase your range...
  19. Im going out rain or shine, bucks wont stop moving because it sprinkling
  20. Im glad to see im not the only one irritated over this whole thing ! i have no problem with the cornell deer managment, im just ticked they passed it off to the dec.
