  1. Anybody else ever do this? I was just going through some memory cards and saw that one of my cards had a file for a moultrie camera. I've only been using stealth bushnell and browning. Oh yeah that's right...I have a moultrie camera. Hopefully it has some good pictures of some nice bucks on it because none of my other cameras are getting anything. Now what tree did I put it on?
  2. I still have this refrigerator if anybody is interested
  3. A lot when you're thinking of buying for two kids also. I have one under 5 that I'm definitely going to take advantage of the lower price bracket. $380 under 5 $535 5-11 $765 12-69 and $65 70+
  4. I gotta be honest with you I'm not sure what the barrel of the release is. Maybe I can. I'm gona go to the bow shop tomorrow if I have the time and learn a lesson or two. I'm hoping they will be helpful because they are close by and I tend to be pretty loyal. However I spent some more time with my bow and I corrected the arrow veering right when releasing by my fingers by rolling the string onto my fingers so when I release and it rolls off it shoots straight. It helped a ton and at 15 yards I shot 3 arrows in a row into the ring I was aiming for so I was encouraged with what a little quality time can do. Each day is ticking by.
  5. Yeah I got a release but I think I'd have to get my string shortened or something. It feels awkward. I finally spent some real time other than just 5 min in the morning real quick to pop a first shot picture up. I'm kinda getting the hang of using my fingers tho. We'll see what help I get from the bow shop.
  6. I'm also learning that I'm learning more shorting at 15 or so yards than 10. It gives me a little time to watch the arrow fly and see what it's doing.
  7. I talked to the folks at bullseye over near Bloomfield and they are gona give me a little guidance tomorrow. However I'll try to go there sat too because they said they are having a customer appreciation day. Anybody else wanna go?
  8. Probably 10 or so houses north of german brothers.
  9. Yeah that's not a bad idea to go to a bow shop. I'm in canandaigua and there are a few around. I'm go a get good at this thing. I'm just glad I'm starting now with two months to practice unlike my start with a 12 gauge last year that I bought the night before opening day.
  10. What does shooting through paper mean?
  11. I accidentally said today because i started to start this post yesterday and got side tracked. Oops
  12. Was out working in the lake today when we came up on a boat engulfed in flames. Apparently the dad and kids got off in time and were ok. Fire on my boat is a big fear of mine.
  13. Wow I sure need to practice a lot more in the next two months. I'm finding that my arrows are veering to the right the further back I try to go. I'm thinking this is because of the string rolling off my fingers maybe? Any suggestions? I have been told I need to look into getting a release but haven't checked them out or know where to start.
  14. This was from a doe that I got a week before my buck. I've cooked the buck the same and it seemed a little tougher but still good. You can definitely tell the difference though.
  15. I've decided that when cooked right I prefer venison steak to a beef steak. It actually surprised me. I did a side by side comparison the other night.I seasoned them the same, I cooked them the same, and I ate them side by side. Saved some till the next day because I like to eat day old cold steak and that was the true test. The beef taste bland and I preferred the venison.
  16. look up garlic zucchini pancakes with shredded parmesan cheese
  17. Thank you. They look awesome and I love seeing something new.
  18. These things popped out of the ground after the rain we got. They looked almost alive to me. I think they grew pretty fast.
  19. First shot was the one to the right at 10 yards. Not bad for my third arrow ever shot.
  20. Higher math alright
  21. I put a 2 man stand up in my backyard at the edge of the woods just so my son and I can go sit in it. I figured now's a good time for him to be able to learn to sit still and ask questions without any pressure of scaring animals away.
  22. is she on this sit? Cause brownie points only work if they know about it!
