What is hanging from the belly of this deer?
Rockspek replied to Rockspek's topic in Trail Camera Pictures
I think i can see 4 legs -
I put them with anything you would put garlic or onions with. Also you can cook them in a little butter or oil and put them on top of a dish to fancy it up a bit.

MFDC1710.AVI I'm a little confused to what I'm looking at on the belly of the first deer in this video. Wish I had a better picture or video.

I always cut the scapes off when they first curl around and cook them. I almost get more excited for scapes then the actual garlic. It's like a bonus. Then keep an eye out for when each leave started to brown. I was told that each leave that is still green will make the papery layers that protect your garlic. I make sure there are three green leaves left when I dig them up.

Thats what boys do. I got two 4 and 6 yrs. introducing them to four wheelers tomorrow. I'm a little scared.

I get it in the super pack. Usually 24.99 a 12 pack but worth it. Try the gemini with some of turkey feathers smoked almonds. Also good with raw almonds.

I almost hit two deer last week in the middle of the day around 1 and have seen many others. Good explanation uncle Nicky

So no matter what your mount looks like take better pictures of it. I'll give it a try when I get a chance.

I've been wanting to learn how to find wild edible mushrooms for years. I don't know enough about it. One of my guys knows all about it and he's been wanting to take time to go get some morels but we are just too busy. Doesn't he score some while we are working today. I was so happy for him. Wish I had the time to find some.

Youth 4 wheeler suggestions
Rockspek replied to Rockspek's topic in ATV's , UTV's, Dirtbikes & Snowmobiles
yeah I did. I was able to order 2 online that have speed limiters and wireless remote shut offs for 549 each delivered to my house. We'll see what kind of quality they are when they get here. -

I went to canandaigua motor sports and the least expensive 4 wheeler they had was $1999 and they wanted to charge me $350 for freight and setup I'm looking online for the cheaper ones right now that have a remote kill switch. They are like $500. I would just rather buy from someone around home plus wouldn't mind getting to look at it first. -
I know this beer thread went way off of the original question but I think this counts as what will be in the beer I drink next fall. Hops are 6' tall already.

Do they sell those at regular power sports stores or do you have to order them online? I'm gonna try to stop by a place that sells dirt bikes to check but am just way busy right now. -
I have a 4 and 6 year old that I would like to get 4 wheelers for. I'm too chicken of a dad to let them have full control so I would like to either be able to limit the speed or have a remote kill switch. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm not looking for the battery operated walmart ones either. Needs to be gas powered so we aren't waiting for it to charge. Thanks!

I'm way too busy with my work schedule this time of year.

Glad I saved some of these for a cold snowy day like today in May!

Soon as I get caught up with work I'm firing up the smoker to make some jerky

No but around the same time my dog booked outside and started barking at something too. She rarely ever does that.
