  1. That or start experiencing with some other brands I haven't tried yet.I also could bring it to a different gunsmith Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  2. Yes but he showed me the spent casings and when I went to the range it did intead eject the core loktsSent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  3. I guess I will just live with the core lokts in this gun not a huge deal I guess, thanks for the info Buckmaster, have you ever heard of a similar problem with the 7600? Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  4. On an empty chamber the action works smoothly.I know that's the part that's got me stumped is why dosent it do it with the remington core lokts,no I didn't save any of the jammed casings Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  5. After the shot the pump only wants to come half way back acting like the casing is stuck.I have to jiggle the pump back and forth while also pushing in the release button that you would push to eject a live round eventually the pump will come all the way back ejecting the casing, might not be the best explanation but I hope this will better explain the problemSent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  6. Yeah I believe it was the Winchester super 's that were jamming in mine to,the core like seen to eject the best so far haven't tried to many other brands other than hornady,i guess I will stay with the core loks just didn't realize there was that much diference in the casings from one brand to anotherSent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  7. Yeah culver I'm using the factory magazineSent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  8. Yeah hopefully will find the problem don't like being forced to stick with just remington but right now they are the only ones I trust for that gunSent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  9. Hi guys,I have a reminton 7600 weathermaster in 308 cal that is very fussy as far as what kind of ammo it likes to eject.I won the gun about 10 yrs ago and I started out with Winchester 150 grains and about every third shot it would jam up on ejection.I then tryed some hornady 150 grains and it did the same.I eventually brought it to a gunsmith and after about 3 weeks he called and said your guns done.I went and picked it up and asked what has been the problem he said it worked fine, I said what do you mean it works fine? Then I asked him what he was using for ammo he said remington 150grain.He grabbed the gun and showed me and sure enough it ejected every round I never heard off a gun being that sensitive to what you feed it I don't know if I got a lemon or if anyone else has ever heard of this problem? I've stuck with the remintons and so far so good Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk

  14. I am relatively new to bow hunting and therefore can not comment on how lethal the recurve or longbow is with old school arrows but I am not new to rifle hunting deer and while a 223 will without a doubt kill a deer with a well placed shot I just believe there are better options Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  15. When you bow hunt you try to use the most leathel combination you can,the best bow you can afford, the most leathel and accurate broadheads you can find and draw the most weight that you can comfortably and accurately handle that's all you can do,when it comes to the 223 for deer you have better options Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  16. I prefer nothing smaller than a 243 I hate do take the chance of just wounding the deer when you done have to Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  17. Awesome story, enjoyed it very much Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk

  20. Better in my opinion to have a more gun than needed rather than to little like maybe a 223 Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk

  23. Not a good season on tughill at all I think I only seen about 10 deer on watch all year. I got a shot of on thanksgiving morning on a nice buck got a blood trail on him but it eventually clotted up never got him, I hate that I would rather not see anything than shoot and wound one that I never recover. I have a little area of private property in sulfur springs about 70 acres I was able to harvest a nice 8 point with a 14 inch spread from there that was the only one I got all year, how about you turkey feathers? I didn't see all that many grouse up there either Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  24. Thanks GreeneHunter I appreciate it Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
