Just had a stud skirt us at 60 yards.....I am in a double stand with my 8 year old. Came in behind us but I heard him coming with the dry leaves on the ground. Was an outside the ears 10pt. He milled around for a bit under some trees still holding leaves and we thought he was going to cross in front of us at 30 yards. He opted to walk off in the opposite direction. Laying low until tomorrow when this rain passes. Going to put together a stand for a new 20 acres a buddy and I were just granted permission to hunt. He is new to hunting so this is huge for him. He is going to put boots on the ground Fri after work....hang 2 cell cams and get out. With the Intel he gathers we will set a stand early next week and hopefully be hunting by the weekend right when things start to heat up! Sent from my SM-A716V using Tapatalk

So since none of us are dropping any monsters......let's chat about this for a second. What if Chef is fully confident at 50....shoots it all day and night long.
