    Yup... Powder here... Pellets aren't as consistent.. Don't burn as consistent either I don't think... I use BH209 as well.. Working up a load with my scale to dial it in better.. Right now I just shoot 110 by volume of it..

    I put my friend Sandy in my tree stand for the opener trying to get her what would be her first racked deer in Ny after 11 years of hunting... I get a text.. "buck down... you are going to be proud of me".. LOL... And I am... 9 point, 176lbs, perfect shot and gutted it before I got there... She is VERY happy... And should be... 1 of the best bucks we've taken for sure off this place..

    I shoot clay skeet targets set at 200 yards... If I can break them every time... My guns can go hunting... LOL.. I never really measure the groups on them... I just shoot the skeet so I know I can kill out that far.. But I would say you can go to 150 yards with that gun and kill...

    Mine is my T/C Pro Hunter... I carry either the 30-06 barrel or the 50 Cal BP... Either one.... Love the gun, doesn't matter what I have coming out... LOL

    We eat only game harvested while there,,, The balance goes to locals..

    For me, I try to shoot 6 pt or better... Hence my rifle tag usually becomes a either permit during BP... I shoot a lot of does... Not many bucks make my 6 pt rule..

    The wife and I went for "basically" that but we shot 6 big game animals the first time and 5 the next.. Think of the cost to shoot 5 or 6 elk... You don't go to Africa to hunt 1 animal, that's not where the "deal" comes in... It's hunting up to 33 different species.... I know guys that have gone over and shot 17 animals in 10 days...

    A clean barrel or do you prefer to have a round or two through the barrel... For me.. I tried for a long time to get my rifle to group better with a pristine barrel (cleaning between rounds) but I just can't get better groups than with a barrel that has a round or two down it... So I always make sure I run a bore snake down my rifle barrel and the shoot at least 1 more round, preferably two and put it away till after the season.. How about you??

    Like hunting on a full moon.... My sightings drop dramatically during full moons... I hate them but hunt any ways... But I can't remember the last time I saw good movement on a hunt with anything near a full moon...

    Not public land, a farm I hunt.. but a lot of guys hunt it... I'll try a note first.... They know I usually only hunt Weekends..

    Someone from hunting a ladder stand??? I've got people climbing into my stands when I'm not hunting... Is it something I have to live with or is there a way I can "block" them from using my stands???

    Yeah. Nice try. Buckshot users spend no time at the range. At least slug shooters practice. U try having 2 pellets of that crap hit at your feet and above your head into a tree and then tell me u like it. Feel free. U have nothing on me.
