  1. Oh I agree completely with you! I don't age my venison. I don't have the proper space fans or refrigerator. And I also don't think anyone here should ever attempt to truly dry age meat at home. I'm just saying properly aged meat for sure tastes way different Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Dry aging for sure changes the flavor of the meat.... for one moisture leaves the meat there for the dilution is gone and that concentrates the flavor. Also that black crust on the outside usually contains healthy safe molds which give the meat a nutty flavor. Properly aged meat for sure changes the flavor. Trust me it's my job to know Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Great sit this morning. Got out early. I could see 100 yards no problem 40 min before sunrise. It was freezing and I didn't stay put long I had a appointment about 40 min from camp at 11 any way...... the hike in this morning was more of a trip to retrieve my climber for late season westchester hunting. I did however move some cams on the way out and have some fun stalking some does in the process. I stalked the same doe group for 20 or so minuets I actually moved a cam and then pushed them back to it..... could have shot at least five times if I had wanted to Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
