Of course I will keep a level head and talk to him... The stand is on his land or very close to it.... It is a box blind that the only shooting window provides a shot that can only be taken on to my land.... It is the best spot on the whole 25 acers at is it on the main trail that deer take from bed to food... I know exactly why he out the stand there it's the only place on his 5 acer piece that you could even conceivably hunt.... Go get a cheap ladder stand from Walmart..... Dig a ditch 3ft by 4ft right at the base of the ladder..... Go to Home Depot.... Buy bamboo..... Sharpen 12 inch long spikes... Rub tips of spikes with garlic and rotten fish..... Place spikes facing up in ditch.... Get lots of thin sticks and cover ditch then spread a little dirt and some leaves over the sticks...... Very possible, but he does not and will not have that agreement.... I don't care if I have to take the first two weeks of the season off and sit a stand right next to his to make sure he does not violate my property.... I'll do it... That is one thing for sure, I will be having at least one or two friendly conversations with him... Probably won't even bring up the stand the first time we speak... If I do it won't be right away.. I truly only have 25 acers and there is some town land that touches my places as well... The big problem is that this stand really is in the perfect places it's at a saddle in a ridge Line that catches all deer movement due to a funnel. Let's also be clear that even if the stand is on his land he would have max 5 feet to shoot on his own property... Contract is signed, so it kinda has become my problem..there will be a survey done soon so that will help, but only with the issue of who's land the stand is on... I'll have to talk to the current owner and see what his take on it is Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
