  1. It's a Remington R-15. I'm thinking on purchasing one. Sure is heavy though.

    Lost one

I shouldn't have used a dirty trap. I was hoping for a bobcat. Looks like the work of a coyote. Dug up without firing it.
  3. I love Browning Auto 5's..........sweet 16's , magnums and light 12's. Hope I never buy another one.

    Got sprayed

Got him out but got sprayed on my feet for my troubles. Finally got the stink off my floor mats in my truck. I had some Pete Rickards skunk buster that helped.
  5. This appeared in yesterdays Poughkeepsie Journal if anyone is interested. You could probably read it online also.
  6. I had one done in 2011 and took a looooong time for me to recover from it. My knee was swollen like a basketball and I had all kinds of trouble bending my knee. The nurse that came to my house after the surgery rushed me back to the hospital because she thought I developed a blood clot or an infection . My knee was very hot to the touch and was told that if I can't bend it , they would send me back to the hospital and put me under to have manipulation done on it. I had physical therapy for months and my knee felt as if I had an ace bandage wrapped on it tight for years. That being said , all people recover differently as I'm sure your doctor explained it to you. I need one done on my other knee , but I don't want to go thru that again. But I have no pain and my mobility in that knee is as good as new. My wife had her knee replace and was walking 2 days later. Go figure
  7. Glad to see you fired in the air and not at the dog. It's not the dog who's to blame.
  8. Like many have said , I grabbed him and dragged him back over the property line. However , this wasn't your "typical" landowner. This property is owned by The Fresh Air Fund / Sharpe Reservation and is heavily posted and patrolled by the Dutchess County Sheriffs Office. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous. Some of the members might know of the place I'm talking about.
  9. Maybe Gisele will kiss it.
  10. The gun shop owner told me that Colt only makes 200 of these per week. When I ordered it , I was number 12 on the waiting list. I picked it up today and the gun shop owner told me that they only received 2 of these from Colt. He then explained that the others ahead of me got impatient and asked for their deposit back. Lucky for me I waited.
