I got into trapping to learn how to trap and handle the fur from start to finish. It was never for the money but I got a little overwhelmed with the beaver. Hopefully next season I’ll be a little more prepared. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Nice!!! I used a vs275 with an 11’ lami custom built. Great set up for everything from a 2oz bucktail to a 3oz popper. Good luck with it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I really don't have the experience to do that yet and I didn't want the furs to go to waste. He showed me a wallet he made out of a beaver tail that was really cool.

To be honest the more I look into it the less I think trapping is worth the time and effort other then for personal use. When i gave a guy the beaver furs from this year he said he'd be lucky to get $4 each.

It's a fisher I've been watching one feast on a deer carcass for a month now.I've learned quite a bit about there behavior. There a very curious animal and although I never trapped one I don't think it would be very hard. There omnivores I have an area where I throw my table scraps and it eats everything from fruit and veggies to meat and bones. The only thing it or any animal won't touch is an onion.

Thanks for the info guys.I'm going to pick it up tomorrow or friday. There's a new primer company opening this year in Texas so hopefully that will alleviate things a bit.If anything I'll have a beautiful paperweight lol

Thanks AL I found some data for a few powders I already have power pistol,SR4756 and red dot. Always check the “reloading bible” first. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Congrats on getting off that Island.I've been up here three months and only miss a few things, but I can live without fresh mozzarella I guess. My experience is family will always expect you to understand why they can't make good on the deal.

I read your thread that's a beautiful gun. Do you have any experience with H110 or imr4227 as of now they are the only powders available.I'd probably have to go with titegroup for the lead bullets unless I can find a load for red dot.I'm ready to pull the trigger on this gun i've wanted it for years.

I finally found the revolver I been looking for a Ruger GP100 stainless with a 6" barrel.I was already to go buy it today, but after looking around it seems the ammo and bullets for reloading are pretty hard to get.Any of you guys finding ammo or bullets? Also what grain bullet would preform best for deer at a range of 50yrds.

Thank You I pretty much copied what you wrote and got my restriction amendment letter today.

Yes a very small bucktail.I even tried a 1/2oz bucktail.I wish it work the same way as in the salt I loved slow rolling a bucktail then BANG fish on.I'm going to keep trying hopefully I'll figure it out. saltwater and freshwater fishing are night and day in comparison to each other.

I didn’t even know what it was until someone mentioned it in this thread. It’s on the main and toilet. There’s only one outlet under there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It's definitely got some drafty spots.I was planning to replace the skirting around the whole trailer this spring.I'm going to seal off that area with some pink board for now. At least the space heater will work faster with no drafts.
