  1. I don't care what kinda treestand it is. If I fell out of it I'd be heading home for a change of underpants. The third hands are definitely a great addition to my climber.
  2. You really do shoot a lot lol If you guys sign up at Natchez and hit the notification they'll let you know when the item's you want are in-stock. I scored a case of magnum primers for my '06 last month. https://www.natchezss.com/
  3. It says 30' I'm going to get the stainless one for the few extra bucks. https://treestandwingman.com/buy-treestand-wingman-now/treestand-wingman-pro-series/
  4. The water finally went down to where I could cross the creek safely. I set one trap back in the same spot and put one on a side run. The creek is to deep where I wanted to set it up. There where no branches so I added a few. Not sure if it will work. I’m going to give it a few days if nothing happens I’ll move one over to the other run. 5. This was driving me nuts last night i couldn't think of the name.I wonder how many guys toss them on the side or think what's this for? I have to admit it's been awhile since i've tested mine,i'm going to do it now after seeing this, I keep on forgetting to pick up a life line, but I really don't hunt tree stand much anymore.
  6. I'm with you this I've seen them swing in leach-aid,incinerator and compost pools. We know when they go through an oil slick but what about a chemical we can't see Not trying to deter you Rob hope you enjoy the new adventure
  7. I was having some trouble viewing one last night.Nothing on my phone found it on my laptop.
  8. The black powder sling holds a few quick load on it. https://quake.bpishopping.com/claw-muzzleloading-sling-blk.html Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Funny how the person that wrote the article didn't have the balls to put there name on it or open it to comments.I think the hunting is pretty decent here, not bragging but I put 2 bucks in p/y and didn't enter a third all from state land every year we see very impressive bucks taken, plus for me it's more then just deer hunting. I for one love it here in New York[politics aside].I retired last month and could go anywhere I want too. After looking around every state has it's own problems.I can't stand heat so I never even looked south.Tornado's and flooding no thanks droughts I'll pass. I only own 10 acers and my taxes don't even break a $1000 a year.I'll leave it at that I don't want to stomp on this thread.
  10. Stake it down if possible they'll try to drag it away.
  11. Sorry for your loss, prays for the family.
  12. You can use hair bleach[powder] and mix it into a paste with peroxide just don't get it on the antlers and wipe it down with white vinegar to neutralize the bleach or the skull will turn green.
  13. You got caught that's all there is to it!! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keith,_West_Virginia
  14. I'm not taking any sides or anything just reading along and I'm curious how you know that's West Virginia? BTW your worng about storm he's on here but that;s not his screen name. You also left out a few lol
  15. My condolences to you and the family.I lost my brother-in-law to that nasty disease he was a great guy i miss him. Thought and prayers for you and the family.
  16. I read the greys like the woods and the reds the fields, I also read they don’t coexist but there’s no fields be me and I see both all the time. I think the grey is beautiful. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. When I was up in Maine bear hunting the guide nailed a beaver tail up on a tree trunk. He said if can reach it without climbing shoot it. A little runt showed up and went right over to it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. It’s a grey fox, but now that you mentioned it it’s tail does look a little stubby. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I put a cam on the beaver carcasses and there’s been a all kinds of predators visiting add birds and yotes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cool !!! That brings up the question is there a limit on how many trap can be set in one spot? The fox in the sixth picture look like zombies lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I've been getting pics of red, gray fox and coyote on the beaver carcasses. No sign of coons at all. I'd hate to be a rabbit in these parts.
  22. There’s a good spot between the tree a den. Thanks again for the help Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Yes It looks like freshly chewed branches in front of the tree they knocked into the water. This pic shows the creek to the den. The down tree is to my right. I do have two traps Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Thanks the trap hasn’t been moved at all. You think I should move it down the creek in front of the tree they’ve been feeding on? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
