  1. Does the heat tape need to be plugged in?
  2. It's a mobile home[alright its a trailer] the pipe[pvc/pex] run underneath there's a skirt? that holds the insulation in.I'm guessing over the years and different owners that worked on the pipes left them exposed at one point I replaced the insulation in those areas. the problem seems to be in the same area every time. The kitchen which is the farthest from the water heater is the lest to freeze.
  3. For the last month I've been dealing with my pipes freezing when the temps go under 20* I've tried reinsulating an exposed area didn't help.I've goggled the poop out of this and everything I've read says let the faucets drip? is this the only solution? I only shut the water for a few hours to run up to the store,it took 4 hours to thew the pipes. The thing that gets me is its always the hot water that freezes first and takes the longest to thew.I'm not used to dealing with temps from 20* to 25- this is driving me nuts.
  4. Shed hunting is one of the few things I'm going to miss about Long Island,Up here in the ADK"s it would be like finding a needle in a haystack.I know the little 4 pointer that hits my bird feeder dropped both antlers.

Wouldn’t that tip them off.I was going to use wax dirt and blend it in with the snow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Let me pick your brain on the blind set. I have a deer carcass out back that gets hit everyday by a fisher and about every three days by a yote. I don’t want to catch the fisher so I haven’t made any sets. I noticed the yote goes in the same way 90% of the time. Would a blind set work in one of the pinch points? This spot is tight it walks right along the log. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. It is heavy snow. I’m surprised it doesn’t have the shoes. I just looked it up you have a box blower. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. It should be a 1/2 wrench put a block of wood or something in the middle of the blow to lift it off the ground. It will make it easier to adjust them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. What kind of snowblower? It should have shoes on the side that you drop down to lift up the blower. I cut paths all around my house. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I do the crockpot pulled neck roast, but this year I'm going to try a rolled roast I saw on here.It was a different piece of meat{pork?] It had cream cheese onions, peppers and spices rolled up in it.Looked good
  16. My sister-in-law was the same way.I used to drive my brother to her job so he could drive her and her car home. They live in Florida now.LOL
  17. There’s still 12-14 hours to go. I’m going to paint my reloading room today. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Beechnut There really isn't much of anything for most animals,it's only January and the deer are already eating pine needles. On long island they didn't do that until late march.
  19. Yes Mohawk valley.I see them in the towns, but never in the woods.
  20. I wish there where squirrels up here.I saw and shot 2 eight years ago when i bought my house haven't seen one since.I'm going to try and make a trip to the southern zone and see if I can get a few.If I could I'd hunt them every day for the rest of the season. That and rabbit hunting are/were my favorite.
  21. Thanks guys I’ll give them another try on the next deer. I thought 45 minutes was long enough. I’ll double it next time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Today I tried making deer shanks in the instapot. I normally use beef shanks and made the deer shanks the same way. Beef broth with onions cooked for 45 minutes the slow released for twenty. The beef is always fork tender the deer was like a rubber ball. I try to use as much of the deer meat as possible but never again. I’m starting to think that’s what has be funk’n up my ground venison. Anyone eat them? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. How about some pictures of the parents and the pups available. How much are the pups?
  24. This is one thing that's been holding me back.I know there's a few grey and red fox that hit my scrape pile before the yote's.I still have the carcass from my buck,i'm thinking of setting it up out back and picking them off out the window.
