I saw this guy laying on the side of the road this morning here on Long Island. Such a beautiful buck land a damn shame the way his life ended. He was in a residential area that just 10 yrs ago didn’t have deer in it,but I’ve been seeing more and more. The picture really doesn’t do him justice. He was a beauty. Thanks guys I sent out emails to them both,I even asked about switching it out to a different caliber but i'm not sure which one.I like the fact that there both here in New York.

Does anyone know a good gunsmith that does rebarreling work.I have a remington 700 22-250 that needs a new barrel.I was going to try and do it myself,but don't have the tools or knowledge to do the job right.

Personally I'd be happy if the seasons started last week of october,but that's just me.If i can score three deer of ether sex i'm good a fourth would be better.

I know a lot of guys that would just grab a road kill doe rather then shoot one from there area. When they used to give out buck/doe tags here that’s what a lot of them did. I have a list of people I can donate to ether whole or cut. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I agree with that 100% I live on Long Island access is and always will be a issue. I was answering “silent death” question on why there doing it and the difference between bear and deer. I hunted in October when they opened it up but totally disagreed with it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cubs stay with the sow for two years. She usually starts with three Cubs then loses some to predation. A deer can take care of its self as soon as it’s weened. The areas the opened are over populated with deer,there trying to trim the herd. Long Island is out of control with deer and now turkeys. Does anyone check the heart,kidney and lung be when gutting there deer ? I was taught to look for puss and spots(discoloration) when I first started hunting. The only thing I ever found was green puss in a broken leg muscle and was told it was cancer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Congrats on the muzzle loader it's a lot of fun to shoot and a great time to be in the woods hunting. If you shoot me an address I'll send you a few practice sabots and bullets that "buckmaster7600" turned me on too. There not perfect but cheap and good for trigger time.I also have a few speedloaders I don't used anymore your more then welcome too those as well.

I would never the brains of any animal. I have a friend down south that cans squirrel brains 100 per jar. The thought of it makes my skin crawl. I think squirrels have CWD in there brains. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
