  1. 31 degrees snowing 1-3” expected. Going to change my plans can’t park where I want to hunt. Good luck everyone Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. You can get this hair bleach at Cvs mix it with peroxide to make a paste. Skull comes out shiny and clean. If you going to use regular bleach wipe the skull down with vinegar it will neutralize the bleach. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Couldn’t find a fresh track this morning, but I did find a bunch of old ones 1/3 up the mountain under the beechnut trees. Also saw a bunch of turkey tracks up there too. Got another mountain picked out for tomorrow morning. He was there at one time. Going to try some predator hunting this afternoon. Good luck and congrats to the successful!!! 4. I saw that on the local news a few days ago. He wasn’t wearing any orange. I still have a hard time understanding mistaking a human wearing camo for a brown deer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. 29 degrees light west wind. Going to try a different mountain today. Good luck everyone Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Yes I’ve been finding that to be very true, but this deer kept going up the rest seemed to stay on that contour line. The mountain I’m going to tomorrow had a lot of sign last year. I’m going to watch the hill country dvd now maybe It’ll help out. Thanks for the reminder[emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. So they don’t have a dedicated home range or they just don’t go to the same area or hillside to bed down? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I thought they just laid down, but wasn’t sure. They seem to be seeking out the beechnuts right now. I was down by my pond this afternoon and that’s where I found deer sign under the beechnut trees. I’m going to hit another Mountain tomorrow that has beechnut on it. 9. I’ve been trying to figure out where these deer are bedding on top of the mountain or across the road in a river bottom. Today I followed a track that pasted this I’m not sure if it’s a bed or just digging for beechnut. There’s a deadfall in front off it and a steep area above. This is almost at the top of the mountain. I also back tracked two single sets of track down into a river bottom. It’s kinda small about 500 yards from the main road. I’m thinking of giving that a try tomorrow or is it to close to the road for them to bed down? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Snowed all morning then the wind kicked in around 9 it sounded like a plane was over head. Couldn’t find a fresh track so I back tracked an old one damn mountain goat went up some crazy steep area’s. I had to back out it was to slick for this fat old man. Going to give that area a break and hunt somewhere else tomorrow. Looked like some of the camps where packing out for the weekend. Only four days left. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. 40 degrees no wind. It’s supposed to get cold windy and rain today. I’m heading to the park going to go straight to that ridge I was on yesterday and see if I can find a good track to follow. Good luck everyone!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Had a pretty good day in the park. Picked up an old track as soon as I got to the ridge I wanted to checkout. It went the way I was going then hooked up so I kept following it. While following it I cut a small bear track. Kept following the deer it went on a snowmobile trail for a little bit then crossed and headed up a mountain then it was feed with other deer. I got to confused on which was which, but they all went the same way. Then another hunter showed up a coyote. So i figured that was it. I dropped back down and checked the valley I wanted to nothing. Decided to head out and come up with a plan for tomorrow. It was pretty cool following the tracks can’t wait to get on a fresh one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. 28 degrees no wind heading back to the park. Going in where I saw the spike Monday. Tomorrow’s a wash. Good luck everyone!!! Hope you find your doe Cynthia Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Hunted the park again today. The snow was so loud there’s no way of still hunting,So I got up on a little ridge and sat for a few hours didn’t see anything. The snow softened up a little so I moved around but didn’t find any tracks. I’m not sure what to do tomorrow might just hunt by my pond. There calling for rain Friday. 15. Finally got my phone up and running. Been up at my place since Sunday afternoon. Hunted the park Monday caught up to a butterball spike. Saw his tracks in the mud had a hunch he was going to walk along a long ridge show I slow rolled along, saw a tail flick. He was right in front of me ranged at 67 yards, but decided to pass he could careless that I was there as I went closer. Today there was a snow storm so I tried to get back to the park roads where to dangerous for me. Stayed on my property and saw nothing but they’ve been ripping up my little food plots. Heading to the park tomorrow. Congrats to all the successful!!! I’m going to be reading post the rest of the night. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  19. I didn’t run any cams this year. After talking with my older brother about the days we never knew what was there until it showed up. I have to admit I like see the pics, but like the surprise too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Congrats buckmaster7600!!! Great read and buck, Now i'm really pumped to get up there next week.
  21. Is your property surveyed ? when I bought mine one side wasn't done and the guy next to me kept telling me the dirt road was his,but I found old survey tape about 50yrds. past it.Finally got it surveyed. When I posted it he took all his stand on both sides of the line down.I told him he could still walk his dogs down by my pond during the off season. He sold it to a group of four wheeler riders who have respected it so far.I'd just go talk to him feel it out and go from the he might think you on his property.
  22. That’s what you get for wearing CROC’S [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
