    Tried talking my brother into fishing this afternoon he’s not having it. I’m going to slow roll around and see what else is on this side of the road.

    I picked up a viper a few years ago from CL but never had a chance to use it. The guy put a new set with pocket a bow holder and replaced the connection cord with thirdhand straps. I’m going to bring it up for the muzzle loader season in a few weeks. I’m definitely getting those molly straps for it. I have them on my lone wolf stand and there great. Nice set up!!

    Quite this morning except for a giant woodpecker. Snuck around a little and found this open area would be great for a food plot. I’m going to go to town hall and find out who actually owns this property the town or county and how big it is. It’s nice over here.

    A little warmer then yesterday. Spooked a coyote on the way in. I was surprised how close we got to each other before we seen each other.

    Getting ready for day two. 53 degrees no wind there calling for severe thunderstorms this afternoon so hopefully they’ll be moving around this morning. Good luck everyone heading out.

    Nothing but the bugs moving this afternoon. My brother didn’t see anything ether. It was a little uncomfortable but not as bad as I thought.

    Holy heat !!!! my brother saw two does this morning so he’s all pumped up heading back to his stand as for me I’m sitting in the ac debating if I should go in for the last two hours of daylight.

    It’s getting warm so I’m going to head out and get ready for the evening hunt. Most likely in the same area. It’s sure felt good to be out in the woods again.

    Quite as expected. This is becoming one of my favorite spots to sit. I’ve never seen anyone but bird hunters back here. Plenty of deer signs. Might put up a cheapie treestand.

    Getting light still a lot of leaves up. Good quiet walk in. Pin drop quite.

    44 degrees light nw wind getting ready to head in for the first hunt of the year. Going to try and sit as long as the humidity holds off. Putting my brother down by the pond and I’m heading across the street. Good luck everyone!!!

    thanks i'm going to put it back on the 3030 and try it that way.It's to close to the muzzleloader opener and i'm using it this year.

    Yes I put one on my 3030 but I’m not really sure how they work so I took it off. I thought the front sight was supposed to be like the bottom of the crosshairs on a scope,not sure if the makes sense but that’s how I was using it. There was no consistency with it.     Looks like this might be it. Last year I caught what I thought was a mouse on steroids the tail was longer then the body. I kinda feel bad being it’s endangered. I dug a hole one year to put up a meat pole when it started rain I went inside the next day there was a rock vole dead in the hole. Felt pretty bad about him too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
