  1. Started raining so I came in. Sat in two different area didn’t see anything. I think it’s this East wind. I’m going to start keeping track of it. I gave that log book crap up a few years a go,but maybe it’s worth trying it up here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Warm 50 degrees some wind 11 mph going to sit until the rain starts. Good luck everyone!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  7. Made it up late last night seems it takes me an extra hour to get off that damn island. Anyway 34 degrees with no wind calling for showers later. Going to hunt my property today and hit the park the rest of the week weather permitting. I saw a buck with his nose to the ground crossing the road last night. Good luck and congrats to the successful!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. Anyone heading out with the muzzle loader today? Good luck everyone!!!!
  10. I can't find it on there website but if you have a copy of this years hunting regulations on page 24 in a black box titled "boning out deer" it says "some hunters who take a deer in remote areas may wish to bone out the deer and pack out the meat.this is lawful but you must retain the carcass tag with the meat" It doesn't say anything about retaining the deer's junk. I'm heading up this weekend for a week of muzzle loader if I get one ether sex to far back i'm cutting it up and packing it out.I'll go as far as snapping a picture, but that's it.
  11. I brought this back because I couldn’t find the thread about the Garmin inreach. I went with the gpsmap 66i with the monthly plan for now. It’s a nice gps system set up like my Colorado 400. It took a little frustration to get the s.o.s and texting set up,but there customer service is great. I tried it out by texting my brother in Florida,my niece in conn. and my sister here on Long Island it takes a little long to get them but that’s ok I don’t text much when I’m hunting. The only problem I ran into was my iPhone doesn’t sync to it so I can’t use the Birdseye maps. I’m working on that. I’ll say this if your only going to use it for texting and s.o.s get the mini but if your like me and use a gps go for the gpsmap 66i it’s way a head of the other one. 12. I tried when I was looking for my marlin 3030 I wanted a JM. They said buy one of there's off the shelf but they weren't JM's. There aren't to many gun shops around here. The guy I always used shut down his shop.
  13. Deal I've been wanting a CZ American,but can't find a dealer around here
  14. Ok I put the original seat on big difference. I’m going to practice with it for the next few weeks. I want to use it for the muzzle loader season. That after market set sucks for $120 it should be able to stay on the stand, damn i didn’t even pay that much for the stand and everything it came with. Thanks again guys Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Thanks guys i'm going to try the other seat out.
  16. This is the seat I have on there now
  17. i'm going to give this a try he gave me both seats, but they weren't on the stand.Do the teeth face up or the cables I switched them around after thinking about what crappyice said about banging my legs with them. It's defiantly more comfortable. Does the summit seat have pockets on the inside? I can't for the life of me figure out what there for you can't put anything in them without crushing it. It looks like the thirdhand straps are on the inside of the frame I wasn't to sure from the video. How's the cart ? I think core has the same one.
  18. You must have a DEC representative attach plastic seal(s) to the pelt(s) or unskinned carcass of fisher, marten, otter, or bobcat. Contact your local regional wildlife office to make arrangements to get your fisher, marten, otter, or bobcat sealed ^^^^from the dec website
  19. I didn’t want to keep hi-Jacking core’s thread so I started my own. I just have a few more questions. I watched a few YouTube videos but want to know if you guys take the seat off to lock it together and also the third hand straps. I couldn’t get mine together with the seat on,so I followed the third hand guys instructions seems like a lot of work to do at the bottom of the tree. I haven’t attached it to a tree yet. Hopefully this week I can find somewhere to give it a try. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Hit the range today. Where only allowed to shot at 50yrds. with open sights. First group I was looking at the rear sight then when I realized what Pygmy was saying I started looking throw the sight. Not great but I’m going to bring it upstate where I can do what I want. Thanks for all the again. Off the bench shots Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
