    Down to a mist going to head back. Theses leaves are coming down like rain.

    It slowed down so I’m going to slow roll down to my pond and back. Tomorrow looks good for the afternoon hunt.

    I know the ADK’s are known for still hunting but does anyone have any success hunting from a tree stand? I found a nice area the last few days and the bow hunter in me says set up a stand. I was just wondering if anyone has tried it with any success? I might give it a shot next week

    Oh ya and I sinned again!!! from what I saw on a snowmobile map they moved the trail up about a mile or more and voided this one out.

    Had a great morning in the ADK woods no deer seen but plenty of fresh and old signs. Found what looks like a honey hole of a spot. Going to hit it hard next week being tomorrow and Sunday are a wash. Going to skip the deer hunt tonight and try some predator hunting instead.

    30 degrees with light? Nw wind. Heading back to the state land going to give this area I’ve been hunting one more shot. Tomorrow and Sunday look like a wash.good luck everyone!!!!

    If your looking for a cheap one check runnings they have an orange/camo one for $25 it looked nice and I might pick one up myself.

    I’m going to put a blind right in the middle tomorrow this way if is walking down the trail I’ll have a clear shot.

    Wind was NOT light it was ripping all day with a few snow flakes. Found a scrape line on an old snowmobile trail. Didn’t see anything. Going to sneak back to where I was last night only on the other side of the hill.

    32 degrees light nw wind. Heading back to the state land going to hunt around the deer signs I found yesterday. Then push back further. Good luck everyone!!!

    What kind of radish is this? I only know the red round ones in Salads. These where in a bag of throw and grow the deer and bear love them. I’d like to plant them next year without the grass that’s in the throw and grow.

    Here’s a recap from this mornings hunt. Went to the park tried to get up and around a mountain,but it was to much for me. Headed over to check an area a little more flat found what looks like a feeding area. Going to give it another scout again tomorrow.

    That was awesome!!! All the years I’ve been hunting I’ve never heard a doe make that noise. It was a young doe not sure if that’s a estrus bleat or if she was trying to find her mother awesome.

    I doubt it’s another hunter. I want a buck she’s on an upper road I’m down on a lower. Hopefully a buck hears her and comes through.

    I hear a doe bleating about 100 yards on the other side of a hill. Should I sit tight or sneak over? Never had this happen before

    I eat a porcupine once it was very greasy and not worth go through the skinning pain.

    Hunted on state land spent most of the day in light rain and hail. I was trying to make my way up the back of a mountain to check out to saddles but couldn’t get around a beaver pond. It was a really nice area I’ll definitely be back,I’m going to try and go around the other side tomorrow morning.
