I got the jacket a few months ago and wasn't expecting it to be as nice as it is.

I used to love cod fishing,but the last few years I've been getting sea sick so I haven't done much of any boat fishing.It was great to get out in the winter months and catch fish.I loved every aspect of it getting there early staying out all day.The cold never bothered me much but a few of the guys I went with always complained about it.I've been on straight up blood baths to trips where you had to work for them still all fun times.I always kept it simple with bait but there where a few trips where the jig guys did better.The plus for me was all the weird fish that would come up lemon flounder.sculpin,monkfish,cunners and puffer eels[?] I fish on a lot of boats out of Montauk,but always liked the atmosphere on the viking fleet

The best I've done is six in one day more doubles and triples then I can remember.I also hunted a few nuisance property's which gave me two extra months to hunt and where loaded with deer.The main goal was to fill the freezer with choose cuts. I know my location says Stratford,ny but I live on long island over populated with deer.To shoot two deer in the morning then two in the afternoon was no big accomplishment.The picture with the two bucks on the lawn.I shot both within minutes of each other and let a smaller spike walk.

Got mine done during my morning coffee at 5:30. Last year was a nightmare for me I went to dick’s and was missing half the tags. It took three trips to somewhat straighten it out. I gave up and bought replacement tags somewhere else.

I did a test on these nightmare bullets from midsouth shooters. 2” group at 100yrds. For me being not so good of a shooter they’ll work. The cool thing is they sell 30 packs for $5 bucks. what's the barrel twist? I believe the faster the twist the heavier the bullet.I'll look for the chart that gives bullet weight to twist ratio,but I shoot 55gr. through my remmy 1-14"twist. NIce rig!!!

I had a sit-on-top kayak a few years ago used it for saltwater fishing. It was great for a few years,but the thing with a kayak is there cramped and your always wet I never had any problems casting or landing fish from it. After a while reaching for gear behind you is second nature.i never felt uneasy paddling around even through some rough water.idid fall off once or twice but that was just me being stupid and pushing the limits. i see they’ve improved them quite a bit with the seat and even have a few with motors. two important things alway wear your life jacket and pay attention to water temperatures.
