  1. The rule is that he/she cannot participate in any way to help or assist in the hunt. They can't use a grunt call, conduct a drive, etc. Of course that would be nearly impossible for them to prove if one doesn't run their mouth. The weapon in hand is the only obvious give away.
  2. Supposedly, you can bring a doe in using a fawn distress call. Motherly instincts will kick in. But this would only work during the early season. During the rut, they ignore it and during the late season there shouldn't be any fawns that young anyway. Not knowing any better, I used a fawn distress call on my FoxPro Spitfire at the end of regular season one year and 2 does came crashing in. Go figure.
  3. I remember reading some where that if you know how to call well it works great but if you don't know how to call then it actually makes things worst. The deer catches on and know something isn't right. Also, if you make the wrong call at the wrong time, it also alerts the deer. Sort of like screaming "Merry Christmas" in the middle of summer. I never had much luck so this I'm no expert on the matter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. The dad was a total jerk about it.

  6. Dag...now I can't remember. Let me see if I can find it. I'm pretty certain I saw it running briefly.
  7. Great response, now go back to your hippie forum and stay there.
  8. No. There's another thread out there in this forum for that.
  9. Some how my auto-correct change "week with a book" into "week wife a book". Does my phone know something about me that I don't?
  10. Mapping Trophy Bucks by Brad Herndon and Bowhunting Forest and Deep Woods by Greg Miller. If you're going to read, those two are musts. But I find you learn more in a day in the woods than a week wife a book. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Well damn, sorry to hear about that. Good luck with the surgery and I hope all turns out well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  20. Is it city boyish of me the fact that I've never of this Luke character?

    Ethics question

I would have called DEC and convince them the option of letting me putting it down.
  22. Can't eat antlers and don't have room in my dinky apartment for a mount anyway. Unless it has a monster rack then I'll get a skull mount and store it in my dad's basement till I move to some where bigger. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Awesome news! Take that, cancer! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
