I too am a firm believer for the young and healthy, this is no worst than the flu. Problem is the lock down and the concern for the elderly. The sooner we can get the number of positive cases under control, the sooner grand kids can see their grand parents, people can get back to their normal lives, and baseball can resume. Those selfishly not practicing social distancing is just prolonging this. You may not be concerned about yourself but if for nothing else, do it for baseball. Edit for typos. -

Went to a local park nearby so my boy can ride his bike and the place was also packed. Kids playing basketball, baseball, etc. Tennis I'm not too concerned about and you tend to keep your distance. Decided to do a 180 and head to a more secluded park. This isn't a sign that things are getting better, this is a sign as to why US just surpassed China with the most number of cases. Knowledge of the virus now, state of US hospitals, and over health of its citizen is what's probably keeping the death toll down. -

Yes. But only one is deadly. Wife’s boss had to go back to work even though he tested positive for one of the non-deadly strains. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
My younger one likes to uncoil the whole roll because he thinks it's fun. He would sneak into the bathroom and we'd find a mound of TP on the floor. We had to leave the TP on top of a shelf for the longest time till he grew out of it.

Over. Also because of the wall. And with young kids, they don't care if it's over or under, it'll still wind up on the ground regardless.

If you’re going to blame Cuomo for not shutting down the state earlier then you can say the same about Trump for the country. Washington State is even worst ratio than NY per population. You definitely have to blame de Blasio who didn’t want to shut the schools down even though Cuomo insisted that he should. Hind sight is always 20/20. If this pandemic never hit, we would have blasted Cuomo for wasting money on a bunch of ventilators to sit around and collect dust. I don’t like the guy as much as the next person on here but ever SINCE the pandemic took over NYS, he has remained calm and made good decisions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Shocked to find that my trusty 409 is not on the list. Had to go back out and buy some approved disinfectant. -
Ordered the Hornady One-Shot spray lube and will give that a try. Let's see how Amazon's delivery is going to be since they announced that they will give household items priority during this lock-down.

Humor aside, here are some useful information. List of EPA approved disenfectants to use against COVID-19. https://www.epa.gov/pesticide-registration/list-n-disinfectants-use-against-sars-cov-2 -
I don't use a tumbler. I use a soaking solution. 2 quarts water, 1 cup vinegar, 1 tbs salt, 1 tbs dish detergent. I let them sit over night and rinse them out with water. set in dry place (over radiator) and let it brass dry over a couple of days. After much input by helpful members of this forum I now realize I have not been using the lube as much as I should. I also believe when I wasn't having this problem with my 308, it seems I've been using the neck sizing die where as on the 223, I think I'm using the full length die.

I guess that’s where I went wrong. I’ve always wash the brass after re-sizing/de-priming. Was it supposed to be washed first? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

NYC folks getting out there too. People just keeping their distance. Hit up Tibbets Brooks on Sat and Van Cortlandt today. There were people golfing in Van Cortlandt. -
Congratulations.

Again, number of cases per 1 million is in direct correlation to number of test administered per 1 million which US inexplicably lags behind almost every country. New people are getting infected, yes, but also many of these are previously infected that just got tested. Keep in mind the virus has a 2-14 day incubation period. Then symptoms might mild for a week before the patient seeks medical attention. That means potentially the cases that are popping out now were infected at the beginning of the month. I have not checked in on it but when I asked a friend of mine who is Italian and has family there, he said most of the death is concentrated in the northern central region which is a bit more mountainous, older smaller towns/villages, and higher number of elderly who have a harder time getting to hospitals. -

Those are very good indicators. Are quarantined at home or at a medical facility? Best of luck. -

The idea was that a healthy younger person can just grab antibiotics, stay in ICU for awhile and come out without missing a beat. That only works if there is enough antibiotics and enough room in ICU. -

If the wife showed any signs while working with patients, she get tested. Since she tested positive, everyone with direct constant contact with her must get tested regardless of any signs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
