Saw a coyote early this am, then about 730 another little coyote ran out into corn stubble. I called him right to my stand and was able to draw back on him but didn't get a shot. Then had a doe come my way to about 5ft from the base of my tree. Then I saw it was a young spike and let down n let him walk. Moved my hand on stand to a new spot because I was actually set up on the neighbor's property or at least too close. Set up right near buck bedding I found. Wind in my face the whole way. Bumped some big bodies up wind of me. Then around 545ish a 2.5 or 3.5 year old came out into the corn stubble. Then a couple 1.5 year olds joined him for some light sparring. Didn't come closer than 100yds then got too dark. Snuck out without disturbing them. I saw a biiiiig body and tines just across the field but wouldn't come out of the tree line. Next time hopefully! Reeeeeaaaallly considering trying to switch my days off from Tuesday to Friday or maybe just going out Saturday..... The wind on Tuesday will be pretty close, I'll be threading the needle buuuuuuuut, maybe I'll get lucky!? Man! Decisions, decisions! Who am I kidding, I'll be out there Tuesday & Saturday.

This is what I do. I rachet the deer to a metal wire rack about this same size and lift one end and lean it in the truck bed and then slide the rest in kind of like a gurney.

I think %15 for firearms but heading there on lunch to see what they have. I guess the store is moving to a Hamburg location, and 37 other stores are closing and sending their inventory to the Tonawanda store until it moves to Hamburg.
