    Get there before light, set up my hen and ugly jake, sit down in front of a tree, don't freaking make a move for a while, start calling wait ten minutes, shoot the biggest tom of my life...again. Hopefully!

    What's the S.O.P. for this time of the season? I'm pretty sure I have a hot scrape and rub line. Do I sit in a tree nearby? Do I still hunt? Both? AAAAHHHH Whatever I do, I should've done the other choice.... What do you guys and gals like to do this time of the season? I set up a cam at a fresh scrape that looks like it's being used regularly, gonna check cards this weekend.

I bought a pair of the "Snow Claw" last year and freaking love em this year. Nice and dry and super warm so far whether up in a tree or down on the ground, they're awesome. Worth the $$$ IMO

    Hey, if you're not having any luck with a trade and want to get rid of that 9M, that was my 2nd choice and wasn't lucky this year lol. I figured it doesn't hurt to ask..... (crosses fingers)

    Anybody else going out tomorrow? I'm sneaking out for the am, then the wife's gonna shop on friday, but saturday is her birthday but the pressure's also bottoming out so I'm hunting!!!! Happy Thanksgiving to all, God bless and safe travels!

    Well sat dead quiet for a few hours, stated getting really cold so I figured I'd make sombre noise and see if I cam get something going. Rattled for about a minute, grunted, bleated. Heard something thrashing up a sapling i.e. something. Big 8 comes right to me but no shot. 25 mins later do it again and a few minutes later a younger buck makes a b line for me. I "maaa" him to stop him. Took a shot blood looks good, didn't go through tho.... getting a coffee and headong Back in Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

    I think most pop ups will repel rain but not totally rain proof. Kind of like a camping tent, it'll keep you dry but you should spray it with a waterproofer but I'm sure that stuff will stink. I wouldn't spray it and go out because of the scent and I would hesitate to use a camo pop up blind on public land, unless I had a bullet proof vest. I agree with the other reply, try to find some good cover from the weather as the game should hopefully be doing the same. Good luck and prayers for safety for everyone!

    I have a buck on cam overnight 10/31 chasing a doe. This am I saw the biggest deer I've ever seen. And it was in the middle of the street just before sunrise. I thought someone's pony had gotten out lol. His nose was on the ground and he didn't move till my truck was 30 yrs from him. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

    I went for turkey with my 12 ga. in my honey hole turkey spot on Saturday, and saw a bunch of deer, no shooters - a young small buck and a doe with her 2 fawns. Not a single gobble all morning. So Sunday I went up in a tree with my bow and right at sunrise a big loud gobble! Dammit!!!!!!!!!! Then a while later a pair of gobbles and some raspy yelps. not a deer in sight that day wth, go figure! Well I'll try again this friday dusk maybe and then Sat and Sun.
