    Rocky boots not sure exact "model" but similar to the sport utility 1000g.lasted 1-2 season's before leaking like crazy.maybe it was me..more treatment and or storage of said boots but expect more for $160.feet get wet every time I walk through field with dew on it.not wearing those anymore....

    Don't usually do the all day sits.couple pieces of peanut butter candy n coffee is my go to during morning or afternoon sits.sandwich and maybe ziploc baggie with a few chips in it for all day.apples are a no go for this guy,bad experience!!!!no joke,last year I was in the "creek" stand,afternoon sit.pulled out an apple n started munchin,had a piece lodge in my throat,gasped a few times then finally got it to come up.grunted 3 times after in hopes to cover my coughing n threw the apple in the creek I was sitting next to

    Slower season here as well. Deer sightings are alot slimmer that previous years.the rut seems really odd this year aswell

    Sit the pines alot during bow season and gun where my cam is setup as it's high traffic back into some thick stuff and golden rod fields on neighboring property but this year I think I'm going to overlook the woods in hopes the neighbors bump something on their way in

    Call and txt sent to local deer search,will see if I get a response. Really chaps my ass!I owe it to the deer to do all I can.if I don't hear back I may even take another walk tomorrow morning before I call it quits.not the way I wanted to end the bow season, that's for sure.all the practice shooting and in the heat of the moment it's blown.i know we've all been through it,just venting..on a side note,very nice buck @ApexerER!!!!!!!!

    Has been 8 hrs.put boots on the ground at 7hrs.jumped 2 deer so far n both beds dry n deer looked healthy.ive gotta be damn near stepping on this deer its just so dam thick.may have to call deer search.going to regroup at last blood n try to cut tracks again

    Not that i recall but it could of been slightly.everything happened quick(15 secs)from time i spotted deer to shot.That was my thought exactly when i noticed it didnt pass thru.i heard the hit too so assuming it hit bone

    Hardly any blood/wet leaves making it a nightmare.found with 60-70 yards into track.doesnt look good,backed out.will wait a couple more hrs.got that sick feeling in my stomache already

    Found half the arrow with some blood on it and some white/grey hair.hate when i find that!!back at the house for an hr before i bother going any further.had to get the ok aswell from neighbor as deer went that way,as usual....updates to come hopefully

    #sent it.looked like a doe or spike,notta gettin a pass right now,need to make meat.took two big bounds.stood there for a min n walked off with tail halfway up.. hoping the shot wasnt far back......waiting a few to get down n check for arrow.

    Up and light rain.deff not a fan of bow hunting rain but showing it may be first snow ive seen around 9am,im hittin the woods!
