  1. Tossed in a rhyme at the end for fun as well Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. My good friend Jack Daniels talked me into hunting a new spot on the property I haven’t been to yet this year. He also talked me into changing it up and bringing the 30-.06 out for the first time ever hunting with a rifle. I just barley made it though the water without getting wet so that’s a plus already. Now if the deer will cooperate with Jacks plan I’ll be a happy man. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. An all day sit and no deer seen. I’ll be back at it again tomorrow morning. Going to check some cams and decide where to hunt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Still in stand and still haven’t seen anything. Suns beating on me pretty good but it still feels cold Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. Lots of good advice here already Just be patient you will sit and not see deer more times than you will see deer. Bow season when deer are suppose to be everywhere I went 8 straight sits without seeing a deer. It can and will get frustrating and it will be a battle of mental toughness. It's easy to throw in the towel and quit it's much harder to stick with it but let me say its very rewarding and you will forget all those sits of not seeing anything. I like to joke around when people ask me if I am going out hunting. I will sometimes reply nope just gonna take my gun/bow for a walk in the woods because the reality is that's pretty much what will happen. I will go for a walk in the woods with my gun/bow and not see a thing.
  11. No no no no HELL no! My back and neck hurt just looking at that picture! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Woah, Woah, Woah. Carry out whole. Like draped over your shoulders? While hiking in the mountains? I feel like less of a man now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. See any state troopers, black helicopters or a certain 17 year old white male?
  14. Any worthy of taking a shot at? or did you pass to let them grow another year? lol
  15. What do you know Wooly made another amazing wood carving.... yawn Just kidding man, as I was looking through the pictures I was like yeah that's looking OK, hmmmm yep he seems to have this idea down, oh wow yeah that looks good, damn it that's a spot on Rottie Great job I am sure your customer is as excited about it as you are if not more!
  16. Good luck in the morning Cynthia and Bill. I agree with others based on the information given that doe will not be far from where you last saw her. That’s a dead deer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Good luck Cynthia! And good on you Bill for jumping in right away and lending a helping hand. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Shoot me a PM or text with the contact info. I want to have my bow buck done just because. I was going to do it myself but for $60 to have someone else do it seems worth it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. My bow knowledge is very limited so I may be completely wrong so lets just say that its only my opinion. 4 years ago when I decided to start bow hunting I really had no interest in dropping $1,000+ on a new bow but I wanted new and not used. I went to a shop that is trusted by a lot of people I know and I walked out with the Hoyt Ignite bow completely set up for hunting for $450. Unfortunately they no longer make that bow but it sounds very similar to the Klash bow you mentioned specification wise. I am 5'-11" with a draw length of 28" and the Ignite is adjustable to 30" where the Klash is only 29". The beginners Ignite bow honestly shoots very good groupings out to 40 yards which is as far as I have taken it. I would bet in a more capable persons hands it would do even better. I guess what I am trying to say is i'd imagine that the Klash youth bow would be a bow that your son could use for many many years as long as he does not physically out grow the draw length.
  20. Right! Pretty dang obvious if dudes got a set of meat clackers or not. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I’m thinking the same thing man. I must be slow. 1.5-2 just to skin and quarter up. Then another 3.5-4 hours to cut, grind, package and clean up. I tell everyone it takes 6 hours but I always break it up in 2-3 different days. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Seem's like a strange move for them. I wonder what their reasoning is.
  23. Our club actually seems to be down a bit in total deer take through the first weekend of the regular season. It does however seem like the quality of bucks is much much better than it ever has been.
  24. Driving as in driving the vehicle to their spot so they can hunt? Because obviously driving deer would be assisting and not legal. Other wise you can hunt small game all you want as long as you are not some how helping them.
