Yeah, doesnt make alot of sense to me. It sounds like theyre not going to stop drilling/processing the petroleum, just wont be advancing the pipeline and further, so whats that gonna do? Someone pointed out that the oil will just be transported via train, maybe by tanker , and both modes use fossil fuels , so whats the difference? Actually, it probably contributes to MORE air /water pollution cuz , at least w/ the pipeline, its just being transported via a pipe. To me, this move by the Biden admin is just for show. Its meant to demonstrate , at least ostensibly, their opposition to petroleum energy usage and demonstrates their resolve to replace it with cleaner, more efficient energy forms. Its more symbolic than anything

Ok, so admittedly, this aint my forte. The 50 cal provision isnt referring to muzzleloader rounds though, right?? I think its referring to those military rounds like in maghine guns. Back in my army days, I rmember the 50 cal mounted machine guns, and those rounds were huge!! Must be in reference to that , right?

Nah, that articles garbage; doesnt say anything about finding Trump colluded w/ the Russians , nor does it say anything about them them declining to prosecute "becasue they couldnt prosecute a sitting President" . If that was the case, then why the hell di dthey go after Nixon with the Watergate stuff? He didnt have to resign then even if guilty cuz theres nothing they could do about it!! In fact, the Mueller report actually DOES SAY THIS: "...the investigation did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.... Hillary and the Clinton camp however, DID collude with the Russians. I think should clarify it for you: https://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/429292-the-case-for-russia-collusion-against-the-democratsaign

I disagree with your contention that Russia wanted Trump in power; NOONE has been tougher on Russia than Trump while he was in office. Also, the collusion that you mentioned was actually proven to be conducted via the Clinton campaign, I believe. I'm sure youre familiar with the conclusions from the Meueller report so ill spare the regurgitation of its specific findings, but suffice it to say, there was no evidence of collusion by the Trump campaign!! Also, you aver that there is no question that Russia helped Trump win the 2016 election...How?? Do you believe then, that Russia interefered to such an extent that they were able to facilitate the changing of actual votes from the machines so that Trump won when he actually lost? You say they (The Russians) helped him win, so, how exactly did they do that? As for right-wing stupidity, I'm sure theres some of that , along with plenty of left-wing stupidity as well(plus cheating!!!!!!) that enabled Biden to eek out a victory in 2020. As for the lizard people, I'll do a little investigating on that and save for another post ...

Again, you're exaggerating and oversimplifying: 1)Voter/election fraud is real and didnt have to be orchestrated at the highest levels of the democratic party; in fact, im sure that it wasnt cuz that would be too difficult. Most likely, it was done at the local/regional level in the heavily democrat cities of swing states (PA, WI, MI, AZ). I believe that Georgia happened due to the efforts of Stacie Abrams and her ilk. From what I've read, she had a substantial democrat machinery still at the ready and in place from her failed Gubernatorial bid 2 yrs previously. This boots on the ground contingent was powerful, well-organized and heavily controlled the heavily populated urban centers in GA (Atlanta, Savannah, etc.)and ultimately, delivered the state for Biden via fraud. 2)The vast majority of the" MAGA crowd" doesnt buy into the Q Anon stuff. Do you have evidence that they do? You constantly attempt to portray them as witless buffons by averring this association--why is that? Also, you never answered my previous ?? about the lizard people and your opinion of those who endorsed the Russia collusion foolishness!! Do you belive that Russia enabled Trump to win the 2016 election? If not, do you believe that those that buy into that are = loonie??

Google, thats where: the USA According to data collected by the International Energy Agency (IEA) in 2019, the USA had the most significant CO2 reduction in the world on a country basis, while, as an entire economic bloc, the EU had a more considerable CO2 reduction.Feb 19, 2020 Although we are still a major CO2 emitter, NOONE (except maybe the UK) has reduced their emssions more than us--fact!!

Packing the Supreme Court
Northcountryman replied to Grouse's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
The Dems support for DC statehood is not originating from a place of benevolence and altruism , I'm afraid; rather, theyre more concerned with securing a permanent advantage in the electoral college . Also, youre description of court packing is inaccurate. court packing refers to the ADDING of additional supreme court justices in order to even out, or, cancel out an ideological advantage that one party may have over another. Biden --and the Dems-- want to add a couple justices , I believe, to cancel out the perceived advantage the Republicans currently have. -
Are you attributing the all or nothing question to me specifically or others too? Look, I'm not saying we shouldnt look into --and use, when practical--alternative energy sources, not in the least. I think its a great idea--but it must be phased in GRADUALLY and with a common-sense approach. All I said was the horse and buggy thing is a little wacky lol. I do agree with you, however, that the #1 conundrum we face is the ever increasing human population issue. Eventually, we WILL run out of space. Then, I guess its off to colonize Mars!!

Understanding Scope Specs
Northcountryman replied to Northcountryman's topic in Hunting Gear Reviews and Gear Discussions
Oh ok, got it. Is there a standard or normal ring height thats most common ? I would imagine that my ideal would lie somewhere between medium to large. What size do you use? Again, great posts Thanks!! -
With all due respect, your premise is ludicrous as there is absolutely NO connection between the two--certainly not any more or less than those who believed in Russian collusion, and that Trump conspired with the Russians to change votes to get elected. Or, do you believe that that notion has merit? Nope, bottom line is, you can believe in wacky theories, right or left wing in foundation and scope, but that has NO bearing on your ability to exercise good judgement in the woods; unless, of course, youre psychotic-- Then that would be another matter!!
