    No luck this morning. Scrapes have gone cold so guess is they have their ladies right now. Usually gun weekend in that chunk of woods is on fire.. Called it quits early work called and made me an offer to come in I couldn't pass up. So back home getting a nap before going to work later. I probably have 1 maybe 2 sits left for bow. I'll bring the bow back out if I don't tag out opening weekend of gun. I will for sure be out next Friday when @REDNECK4LIFE32 comes down for the weekend.

    He's been around for 3yrs now. Cant seem to figure out where he travels. He keeps getting into my parent garbage not to far from this picture. I'm on a logging road I've had bear tracks on before. Just hoping he cruises through.

    Up and in. Forgot my pull up rope so I only.climbed 8ft. Hoping a flathead or that bear comes through. I know of 1 smaller bear in the area also.

    Woke up late getting ready and heading out. Wife showed me a picture of a bear that was spotted not to far from one of my spots so hopefully he shows up. Picture was taken at 8 o'clock last night

    I agree. Last year was even warmer I believe and big bucks fell then as well.

    I hunt 7p, 7m and the buck I shot was covered in them and if I don't spray my clothes I'm covered in them. They seem bad this year atleast where I've been hunting.

    Looks like I will have company the last 2 days of bow and opening weekend of gun. @REDNECK4LIFE32 is coming down to hang out, hunt and partake in my yearly chilli dinner the night before opener. Can't wait up to 5 or 6 guys in our group already for the opener. Regardless of any deer taken it should be fun.

    Friend just sent me a video of his hunt today. He had a 4pt and 6pt chasing and breeding a doe in front of him for 3 hrs today. He said they both mounted her 2 times.

    Yea your way up there I'm an hr north of Binghamton. Offers there. Also have the last 3 or 4 days of bow season off as well.

    Where are you out of? I'm off Monday- Wednesday I can try to get you on some stateland deer around me. No promises that I can get you on any but I have some good spots picked out that aren't getting hit and I won't hunt then until gun since my bow tag is filled. I'll offer this to anyone. If they are having a hard time or want a different view let me know. My spots aren't great and can be hard hunting but there are deer in them.

    On the move today. I saw 20 bucks on my way home from spikes to a couple big 8s. All the big ones were with does. Last night I saw a bunch also and the bigger ones all had does with them.

    I've been very lucky the last 5 years on stateland. Only 2 came off the same piece. 3 are gun bucks 2 are bow bucks.. Put a small slide show together. Hopefully to add another this year.

    Knock them down tomorrow. I'll be back out Tuesday and Wednesday to try and fill some doe tags. Seems like a slow start for November bucks are going to start falling in piles soon.

    Mornings take the edge but midday is a close second. I've only taken a couple deer after 3pm. That is also because I don't get to much time in the woods in the afternoon.

    Looks like the bucks have moved into my gun spot already. 5 scrapes and a bunch of rubs also looks like there was a fight last night ground was all tore up. Usually they aren't in that chunk of woods for another week. Snuck in and set the camera up. I won't be back until opening morning.
