Wish this wasnt true. Talking to my sons baby sitter who also runs a small 60 head dairy farm told me that one of their neighbors has been threating to call the cops on them. For what? Cows making noise,tractors going past there house,cow shit smell and a jake brake on their field truck. I guess he screamed at 2 of the farm hands(highscool boys)for a small spec of cow crap falling off the spreader in front of his house. And told them it was illegal to run tractors on roads where people dont want them. This guy is apparently is from NYC area and is the reason down staters get a bad rap around my area. I know more good ones then the ones that think they own everything but 1 can ruin it for all. I just dont get how you can throw a shit fit about farm work in your area when you bought a property with 4 active farms within 3 miles 1 on each side of you. I shouldnt be suprised because hes the same idiot who put up 30mph signs on plywood and screwed them into other peoples trees and then yelled at the cops for not enforicng his speed limit. Just doesnt make sense to me.Sorry just had to vent.

Ive seen one hen with 2 of them every morning on my way home from work under someones bird feeders for the last week.

Just tryed mowing could only do half. The dry part of my lawn i was sinking with the zero turn so i didnt even bother with the rest. Hoping to finish tomorrow.

I live in Oxford we got hit pretty hard. Destroyed school playground 8 plus roads closed more damaged. My sons babysitter is at a dairy farm their pastures got damaged and lost alot of fencing. Heard of 2 mudslides. Some people measured 3-4 inches of rain in an hr last night. Picture from the bridge by sons day care. Anyone else get it through the storms yesterday. I know alot of people 1 town over got nothing.

Daughter wanted in on the action. So we ran down for the 10mins we had. She caught one.

So his first ever offical fish is a blue gill. Couldnt be happier.

Well we caught some. I hooked them he reeled and was he was really confused why we put them back but not the minnows in the bucket. Anyways he was really excited and actually touched them. Hes got alot of energy so not close up photos but 1. Hed run back screaming no before i tossed them back. But we also tryed to see how he was on kayak and did very well. First one is him trying to figure out where the first fish went.

Well me and the boy got the lawn work done.(his helping at 2 is sitting on the my lap when i mow.) Teaching him young have to work before play. Hes off for his nap do i can get my other stuff done. Then one of my good friends is coming down and we are going to try to get little man on a fish. Ill post up some pics later of the adventure.

Sorry to hear about your dad its not easy. My father just got diagnosed with dimentia 58yrs old not the same as your father but its still hard to watch him slowly become less of himself. Im in the same boat very little info. Praying for you and your family and just enjoy the time you havr with him.

Well ide ike to start by saying holy crap i love the senkos. I caught by far my biggest bass. Ended up with 2 little pike on the lure rob mentioned forgot to take pictures they were both about a foot. 4small mouth and this pig on the senkos. Thank you again grampy and rob. I had this fish hit my line atleast 4 times before i got a hook to stick. He was about 15 ft from shore so it didnt take long to get him in but when i got him just to shore the line broke and he layed half in the water half out so i jumped in to get him. Got a little wet but this was not just any bass. Guessed him at about 18 inches. Didnt have my tape measure and no scale but ide say atleast 4lbs. But hes is back to catch another day. Pictures just dont do him justice could barley get my hand around his tale when i put him back in.

Getting out at 630am and heading to walmart to get some hooks then heading to local hunting shop to get some minows and the lure rob told me to try and going to try both robs and grampys advice this morning. Hoping to have the first cast out by 730.

No need to send anything thanks for offering. wife asked what i wanted for fathers day about an hr ago so i sent her a list of a couple fishing things i wanted and put the Senkos on the list. Going to go pick up one of those jr thundersticks rob mentioned tomorrow when im out and about.

Ok this might sound dumb. Ive never been one to fish much but when i do its usually a worm and bobber. Living on our little lake now ive caught 1 little pike, no bass yet but i have some lures for the bass. but would like to try and catch more pike and pickerel. Is there a certain lure i should use maybe live bait ive heard theres some big pike in it. Lakes only at most 20acres and maybe 20ft deep if its lucky i can fish from shore and canoe. Just would like to try and up my odds a little bit. Thanks for the help.

Not frost heave but my buddys truck ruts from helping move last year. I usually wouldnt but its extremely rough was hoping to smooth it out a little bit which it did but not great.

Just picked up my dads lawn roller to hit my place a couple times. Hoping it will make it a little better.

My flowers are about 2 weeks behind everyone elses in the area for some reason. But heres some,also have a 20ft x20ft spot packed of lilly of the valley flowers my mom and aunt found and are raiding them almost daily for there garden.

Bow deer 10 yrds, furthest 25 Gun deer 5yard, furthest 100ish.

Little pike was all this am. About a ft long.
