  1. We'll see. This spot has produced opening morning youth kills for the past four years and counting...
  2. Cool sequence. Flying out of the roost in the first pic...
  3. Can't wait for the youth opener...
  4. The Fed. HW 7's are deadly. My wife has taken two birds at 40+ yds with them...those little pellets break wings and eveything in their path!!!
  5. No problem. We'll do lunch if you shoot another mounter this fall. Congrats again on a great season!
  6. Three more today. Included by largest set to date...149 gross with estimated spread. I hate squirrels.
  7. Pulled out the shed pile yesterday afternoon to get an updated pic. This is my 10th year of shed hunting. I only wish I knew how many miles of walking was represented here!
  8. They won't be too far away. They'd better be watching for April 22nd!!!
  9. I'm all for a March 25th opener!!!;)
  10. Man, been seeing tons of birds out here in NE Steuben county. Doesn't quite look like spring yet, but it doesn't seem to be slowing them down. Most of the big winter flocks seem to be intact yet.
  11. Speaking of mounts, this guy has a gorgeous cape now that I got that gaping 7" hole in the neck sewed up. At least he is pretty clean in the tick dept...lol!!!
  12. There are two 1.5" stickers on the right base.
  13. Just put the finishing touches on this beautiful buck. A friend of mine killed him on 12/20 in the final few minutes of late muzzleloader season. What a payoff after chasing this deer for nearly three mounts...with a couple of encounters during archery season and two more really close calls during regular gun season (including a superficial wound). This 157 4/8" gross nontyp. Steuben County 13-pt. bruiser is finally headed for the wall!!!
  14. It's more expensive than a typical mount unless you are supplying your own replacement cape.
  15. Just finished up this remount for an anonymous forum member. Those early season capes really make for a beautiful mount!!!
  16. These two Steuben County bucks are headed home today. Twenty heads done, nine more to go...
  17. Spending too much time at home mounting deer...lol.
  18. All I could come up with yesterday....
  19. Thanks. You'll have another one headed back your way soon!
